I've been meaning to write this blog for a while so here I go

So, a long time ago last year, i met Astra moon (who most of us call Astra) I was surprised that someone over 17 was on dsipaint at all (but that was a while ago before I saw that there were more adults on here than i thought)anyway, I met Astra, learned the details of who she is and her personality so for a while i would go into chats and talk with her and i really though she was a cool person. she doesn't judge based on anything, she is knowledgeable on religion and animals, and over all a helpful person. so one day we were talking about what admin powers we wanted. I was raving about how i would be an awesome game show host (maybe) and Astra wanted to be a chat mod. I saw why, she likes helping people, doesn't like to see the flaming and judging that sometimes goes on at night when the admins are sleeping. I thought Astra deserved to be a chat mod o i sent a recommendation to Sav. I actually didn't think she would become and admin but a few says later she was

for some reason i dont have the recommendation message (i have my whole inbox history but not outbox...crap)

I can remember some of it. it went something like:

Astra is a helpful person and many people come to her with problems and she gives good advice. She knows not to ask to be a chat mod and all the other rules as well. Shes 25 and you don't see her very often because she is in the chatrooms mostly at night. If you did see her it would be clear she is a great candidate for the job of chat mod.

after i sent that i went to bed. one maybe two days later i went on dsipaint, went into a chatroom and saw Astra...her name was purple. I was so excited and happy and all that.

A while after that I saw Sav in a chat and asked her something like was my recommendation for Astra the reason she's a chat mod? she said she got a really convincing recommendation but didn't remember the user that sent it.

I went into my outbox history and found that recommendation and sent it to Sav and asked "is this the one?"

This is the actual reply from Sav directly from my inbox history

"Lol that would be it"

i was so happy so i replied and asked her why mine was the one that made Astra an admin and if it was the sole reason because i wanted to know and i was going to write a blog eventually about this (i finally did lol)

The reply:

"Lol, no it was not the only factor, and I think some other people may have sent recommendations as well. Yours just stood out for some reason."

Stood out? hell yea!!!!

in short i wrote this blog for a bit of recognition because im a nerd like that and its a good story.

BUT!! i couldn't have done it without Sav or any of the other recommendations.
