Poseidan (Neptune), Lord and ruler of the sea (The mediterranean (back then)) and the so called friendly sea. (the back sea (back then)) But under ground rivers were his to claim too.

Ocean, a titan of the Ocean (well his says basically says it). His wife, too was a titan, Tethys. She bore him oceanids, river nymphs, daughters. There sons were all the rivers on earth.

Pontus , which ment deep sea, was a son by mother earth Gaea (correct me if her name is spelt wrong i mixed up my gods). And father Nereus a far more important sea god.

Triton was a trumpeter of the sea. his trumpet was a great white shell. son of poseidan... just not very famous for anything.

The Naiads were also water nymphs. they lurk and live in brooks, springs, and fountains.

The three very unimportant, Leucothea her son Palaemon, once mortals, became divinities of the sea, as did Glaucus, but merely not really famous for anything just unimportant.
