-John Jacob Astor, one of the richest men in the world at that time, was on board with his new and pregnant wife Madeline. She lived, he diden't, and when the baby was born in August she named him after his father.
-at least 15 passengers were travelling under false names.
-The youngest passenger was 2 month old Millvena Dean, and she was the last living survivour.
-13 couples were on their honeymoon.
-50 Canadians were on board but only 15 lived.
-There was a murderer on board. He was fresh out of prision for killing his wife and worked as a boiler.

Some people had suspicions about the Titanic: Eva Hart claimed her mother would not sleep every nigh, afraid of an accident. On the night of the sinking, relatives of passengers woke up after having dreams of people drowning.
