At one time, the sands were peaceful. The gods created us, and began to lose faith in mankind. They unleashed a powerful sandstorm to wipe the face of the earth clean and bury everything in its path under heaps of sand. One girl, at the age of 12, risked her life to save humanity, for her life in return. The gods spared her life and mankind, for they had seen purity and kindness in the young girls soul. They sealed off the storm into what they called The sand glass. Only the sacred dagger, could break the seal and bring chaos back into the world. Prince Dastan, had his life intertwined with the destiny of saving mankind. He soon is blamed for the murder of his father, the king, by a poisoned cloak that Dastan had given him. Dastan was not guilty; his uncle was. His uncle wanted the crown, and killed his family for it. Eventually, he finds the sacred dagger and breaks the seal of the sand glass. Time went backwards and they ended up right after they invaded Element. The princess marries Dastan OH HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!
This is my view on the movie, what do you think?
It's more of a summary with fairly major spoilers, but alright.
In my opinion, it was average at best. I didn't much care for the acting in the lead roles, and the character development was poor. The plot was predictable, but it's still a decent adventure film. Stunts weren't bad either.
