Legend of Zelda. Now lets start with the very first. the original, the golden cartridge, the first game to include a save function EVER...
The LOZ: The 1st LOZ game featured a well made top-down Action-Puzzle game with a "scrolling" ability. Great for noob gamers AND hardcore gamers. (The 2nd Quest). Trick #1= Type "Zelda" as your name to enter the 2nd quest right off the bat. This game was pretty straight-foreward; Find a dungeon, get the item, beat the boss, repeat. but it did have challenges within. Finding all the heart containers was a little difficult. I mean there were places where you had to Move stuff and find secret stairs, but with all of the things that went into it, its pretty good.
Zelda 2, Adventure of link: Ok to be honest, this was pretty bad compared to the 1st game. I mean it often switched between Sidescroller to Top-down, and even the music goit annoying. (Ok the overworld theme from 1st game got annnoying after awhile, but THIS game, i mean, c'mon composers!) i think the only thing the Zelda series benefited from this was use of magic, which later on became a big deal.
Zelda 3, A link to the past: Yep. Good game. It was a pretty big (size) game too. It had like around 9 dungeons (correct me if im wrong) and many more secrets and hidden things than the 1st game. The SNES was a good console to start with at the time. And @ the time, the graphics were pretty good with this game. It had new items, new abilities, and had a lot of stuff for the zelda series to work off of, like the "Bigger Equipment Holder" upgrades. FUMBS UP FOR DIS GAME.
Zelda Ocarina of Time:Big change. Even in graphics this game is amazing! The 3D makes your perspective way differant, and this could very be the best Zelda title. Link has new abilities, along with his old ones (magic, etc), and the game is just great. the dungeons are well layed out, and the game itself is challenging.
