I used to be in the dark, hidden from
the world, I was once a lonely girl.

One day I looked out that dusty window, I looked out that day and the sun tried to kiss my face but I pulled away.

I saw the green grass, blue skies, and colorful flowers, the beauty was overwhelming with much power. I finally decided I would try to live my life, go out in the world, and find something exciting and fun, and let that sun kiss me on the face with it's warmth and grace.

I put clean clothes on, brushed my hair, put on sneakers, and slowly walked out the door, honestly I couldn't wait to what I'll find or explore.

I walked out onto the grass, and through a forest, through the city, through a park, then I stopped at a park bench and sat down.Today was such a beautiful day, nothing could make me frown now, no way!

A guy with a huge frown and knife in his hand sat next to me and said 'Life sucks! I didn't get my way, now I have some old piece of junk car! I never get my way!' The guy looked down at his knife in his hand, I look at him and smile 'We don't always get what we want, we just have to move on and get over it, we should all just be thankful, and count the blessings we have' I hold his hand and take his knife away. 'Blessings are all around us, but we forget them so often anymore, I will name the basic blessings we all have now, The blue skies and ocean, green trees and grass, the colorful flowers blooming. So lets all take time to be thankful for every blessing we have...'
