As all of you may have noticed, there is a policy that is being implemented for passwords. This policy is being instated because a bunch of idiots got hacked for making crappy passwords. The criteria for the new passwords are:
1) At least 1 #
2) At least 1 uppercase letter
3) At least 1 lowercase letter
I'm fine with #3, but it's 1 and 2 that bothers me. Only too many sites now require this sort of password.
Okay, I wouldn't be so pissed if it were just #1 and #2 by themselves, to be honest, but together? That's just going too far.
As I posted on Hull`s profile, my password is random enough. I have never been hacked, and I use the same password for everything, except Facebook.
I hope Hull reads this and relaxes a bit on this new policy, because it will be a pain in most of arses if it is actually implemented. If someone doesn't want to get hacked, then they should at least make a decent password.
you probably should have spelled out "number" so people don't think they need a "#" in their password xD
I don't mind 1 [because I already had numbers] and 3 [because i have lowercase, obv.] and "4" [because it's at least 8 characters] but ever since I had to add a capitol letter, it gets me every time I sign in xD
