There they stood, prepared for battle. Shadow Link had been Link's enemy for as long as he could remember. He was an exact copy of Link, except he was evil! Shadow Link made the first move. He charged, sword above his head. Link prepared to roll out of the way. Swing,roll, Link quickly swung back but missed. Shadow Link went in for a horizontal swing, but Link threw his boomerang and hit him before Shadow Link swung. He fell to the ground, Link went in to take advantage of the opening. He swung but Shadow Link saw him coming and protected himself with his shield. Link quickly went for another swing, and another. Swing after swing he kept swinging but Shadow Link kept blocking. Link became winded and Shadow Link saw his opening, he swung and hit Link in the ribs. Link started to wobble, he could barely stand. Shadow Link came charging, raised his sword. Just before he got to Link Navi started to fly all around Shadow Link's head, he couldn't concentrate. Since Shadow Link was distracted Link swiftly went for the chest. He opened it, got the bow and arrow and prepared to fire. He aimed, pulled back the arrow and fired. Shadow Link was hit right in the leg, he knew he couldn't win now so he placed a bomb to keep Link away and disappeared back into the woods, he got away again but it didn't matter because Link finally got the bow and arrow. Next was to get some rubees, he started heading back to Epona.
