After camping out at gamestop, I was second in line to get a 3DS. I decided to give you guys a quick review.
The 3DS itself has a great layout. From looking straight down on it, you can see two cameras and a light notifier if anyone has gotten into your mii plaza using street pass. The side has a nice cake-looking layout. The front of the side has a light notifier for: I you're charging your 3DS and if you have your power on or off. It also includes audio input. The left side has the SD card slot and volume slider. The back has the game card slot, direct charging (I use the cradle), and the stylus slot. Also, the L and R buttons. The right side has the wireless switch ON/OFF. When you open up the 3DS, on the top screen is the 3D depth slider, camera, and speakers. On the bottom it has the slider pad, control pad, HOME, SELECT, and START buttons. Finally for the bottom, A,B,X, and Y buttons with the power button below. Once you turn it on, you can see the clear In-Depth 3D effect. That means if you've ever seen a 3D movie at the theaters, when it pops out at you, well, the 3DS dosen't do that. It is like everything is inside it. It does pop out occasionally, but most of the time it's in-depth. Just for this, I opened one of the 5 games I bought, Super Street Fighter. I realized that the 3D effect in full 3D is where you will usually have it. On the other hand, though, games like Pilotwings Resort will be WAY too much on the full 3D function. Once you get your 3DS, however, I highly recommend you update it.
That's all for now! I got a 3DS to play!
