“Exuse me... May you direct me to a hospital?” “Hm?” Drei turned at the tap-tap on his shoulder and saw a flash of purple eyes before they dissapeared under a hood. “Yes, er, down the road, make right, then a left, and continue straight. Why, may I ask do you need to visit the hospital?” The stranger pulled up a sleeve. A flash of crimson, and Drei hesitated. “Do you need me to escort you?!” “If...” Blood dripped from the odd stranger's coat sleeve and onto his boot. With a muffled “thud!!”, he fell to the ground. “I need to get this person to the hospital!!” He picked up the person out cold on the ground. He cradled the stranger and ran like he never had before.
At the hospital, the mysterious hooded teenager was placed into the ER. After the wound was stitched up, Drei asked if he may see the patient. He walked into the room, and stared at the burnet. “I didn't notice at first... The purple eyes and the burnet hair... I can't seem to put my finger on it... Do I know you?” Drei asked. “No... Even if you had... You wouldn't remember...” the other was looking down, and tears were dripping from his eyes. “What's bothering you?” Drei asked. “My name's Xast...” he said, rubbing the tears away with his sleeve. “It doesn't matter what my name is... It's not one anyone remembers...” “I don't think I'll forget it...” Drei said, taking a step towards the hospital bed. Xast flinched and jumped off the bed. “St-stay away!!” His eyes were full of tears. “Forget you even met me!!” he yelled as he ran out of the door. The world seemed to stop. The flies stopped buzzing. The air smelt of peroxide. The world had stopped. Who was that guy, and why did he seem so emotionally unstable?
