Drei's heart was beating quickly. What was this sensation? He was falling... Away from everything... Into a void. He closed his eyes. A blinding white light beamed underneath his eyelids. He fell to his knees a gripped his head.
He was on a stage. There were many seats, but only one person. With the spotlight on him, he couldn't see who it was... “Who am I? Don't you remember? Your buddy, your friend, your secret love...” “What're you talking about? Who are you?” The person stood up. It was that guy with the purple eyes and burnet hair. “It's you? I don't have a clue what you're...” That's when it hit him. All of these memories flushed into his brain like something had been clogging them. A forest. A lair. A room. A portal... “Xast...” Drei wispered.
He woke up lying on the ground. Xast was staring at him, legs criss-crossed on the ground, smiling. “You remember now, don't you? Who I am...” “Yes... Xast...” Drei took Xast into a warm embrace. At least one thing was fixed... Xast tears fell onto Dreis shirt. “C'mon, Xast... You can crash at my place with me.” “Really, could I?” “Of course. You realize, I ran away from Zeus after you went missing. It's a bit of a secret of mine, so, y'know...” “I know what?” Xast said, confused. “Nothing,” Drei chuckled. “C'mon...”
Xast slept in the room next to Drei's. He was thinking. How could he get his powers back? He need them to get money for food and clothes. Those Pyrokenics that attacked him would've ben solf for the rarity of them. Stuffed. So much money... At least Drei remembered him now... That was what mattered. That was all that mattered.
