"Near! Are you even worried about when the killer will strike again?!"asked an enraged Rester.
Near didn't respond, just continued placing pieces of his favorite puzzle. The very same puzzle he was doing, the moment he and Mello has been informed about the death of their idol. The only one who deserved their respect. The worlds greatest detective. L.
"For your information, Commander Rester. I know just who the killer is, if you don't just aimlessly interupt and excuse me I'll tell you", Near said emotionless.
Rester looked at his lap, regretting ever doubting the new L. After all hadn't the younger boy solved the Kira case with careful consideration of the orignal L's suspicion of Light Yagami, and aware of Mello's death.
"Near I-I'm sorry-"
"Forget about it. Continuing on, I've pinned all of the evidence to one person. The killer or as we call him Knife, has left several clues thus, it's Huda Toshi. I believe that the Japanese task force can easily find him and bring him to justice. If it's not too much trouble please tell Linder to contact them with my conclusion, also..."
Near opened a bottom drawer of a cabinet he was close to, pulling out a file flipping it open. The albino's eyes scanned the contents, then, he closed it again and handed it to Rester.
"Make sure to print two copies of that, give one to Liner for the Task Force and the other as a backup will be given to Gevanni for the files", Near while looking at Rester from the corner of his black eyes, waiting for him to respond.
Rester gave a quick nod and left to do just as L said. Once Near was sure he left the albino gave a heavy sigh and laid on his left side.
"This world is rotten, when will us humans learn their lesson?", he asked to himself.
"All of the cases are just people with no intentions of trying to end this evil in the world. No it'll never change, unless someone takes action...", he continued.
"Hyuk hyuk hyuk, we'll that could be arranged", cackled a voice appearing to have been listening to Near.
