Hello, I'm here today to talk about the "Pokemon Dream World" a limited time pokemon event. (Ending May 5th)

First, I'll tell you about the event. If you play a game on the pokemon website called "Play to befriend a pokemon" you can befriend one of eevee's seven evolutions. It also says the pokemon you get may have a special ability. To be able to get this you must first have the C-Gear. You're given a C-Gear after you beat the first pokemon gym in either Pokemon Black Version, or Pokemon White Version. After that, you should go to the main title screen. (You must restart the game to get to it, but make sure to save first) Click on Game Sync settings and it will give you your Game Sync ID. This will be a combination of letters and numbers. You should write it down.

Now that you have a C-Gear and have your Game Sync ID written down, you should register your Game Sync ID into the pokemon website. To do this, you must have a pokemon trainer club account at pokemon.com. If you don't already have one, you must register. To play "Play to befriend a pokemon" make sure you're logged into your trainer club account.

Onto playing the game, it's almost like the game: Brick Breaker. You break blocks getting items that either help you or make the ball move faster, give you a smaller paddle, etc. You can break all kinds of different blocks, and some of them will drop orbs. These orbs are different pokemon type orbs. If you collect mostly fire type orbs, you will most likely get the fire type eevee evolution named "Flareon". The game will tell you how to play and about that before you begin.

The pokemon dream world was originally released for pokemon black and white version earlier this spring. Due to the devastating disastrous events in japan, the pokemon global link was down for some time. It's back up and I urge you to get one of Eevee's seven evolutions with a special ability before may 5th! I also highly recommend visiting the pokemon dream world. When you enter into the pokemon dream world, it will go through a fairly long tutorial, so, I will not be explaining everything about it in this blog.

There is still much about the global link and the pokemon dream world that I have not included in this blog. Why you ask?... Go explore it and find out! You surely won't beat "Play to befriend a pokemon" on your first try. It consists of four levels, four levels that you may spend at least an hour working on. If it takes you less time, than great! I have already beaten, and received leafeon from this. I cannot get it onto my pokemon black game card, until they release the event.
