Main Actors-Tyler Perry, Loretta Devine and Bow Wow
The 7ft old lady is back again, but this time with a family thats out of control. Tyler Perry’s most successful creation is Madea, a recurring character who is a large, elderly woman with a bad wig and humongous breasts.
Madea jumps into action when her niece, Shirley, receives distressing news about her health. All Shirley wants is to gather her three adult children around her and share the news as a family. But Tammy, Kimberly and Byron are too distracted by their own problems: Tammy can't manage her unruly children or her broken marriage; Kimberly is gripped with anger and takes it out on her husband; and Byron, after spending two years in jail, is under pressure to deal drugs again. It's up to Madea, with the help of the equally rambunctious Aunt Bam, to gather the clan together and make things right the only way she knows how: with a lot of tough love, laughter ... and the revelation of a long-buried family secret.
Madea seems to be Role Model to many. With all the Upredictable language such as:
"When a lady walk in you say "hellur!" Hellur?!"
"Good Mornting"
"Orange Jurce"
You my also be annoyed by Bow Wow's(Byran) baby mama who happens to call his name sorta like siren which would make you want to choke the life out of her. lol
Overall the movie is HILARIOUS. It also had some very sad moments. So sad it made my friend Christina cry. It's one movie you have to see before its gone. Take the whole family if you must. Just pray your family never turns out like those savages.
Box Office:
His past nine films have averaged an opening weekend of $23.7 million, but those featuring the name of the grandmotherly Madea character in the title have fared even better: 2006′s Madea’s Family Reunion debuted to $30 million, while 2009′s Madea Goes to Jail raked in $41 million its first weekend. However, those two February releases faced hardly any competition when they were released. Big Happy Family, on the other hand, is entering a more crowded marketplace, and therefore may fail to match the success of Madea Goes to Jail. Nevertheless, with a modest $25 million budget, the PG-13 Lionsgate film will almost certainly become yet another hit for Perry.
Ew, South Park. Anyway, i might see this. Hmm... not many comments? Probably because it's a "black people movie" (as my mom says, and don't worry, i'm black) obviously. Shame....
I was unaware that they made movies for specific races. ...Since when has that happened? eXe /replyto2011comment
