I work at a AMC Theatre with IMAX. It is a movie experience like no other. Beautiful HD Screen with surround sound.

IMAX has the world largest movie screens which can be up to 8 stories high and 100ft wide. Talk about the Ultimate Movie experience. IMAX also carries the 3D feature which brings the movie to you. To create the illusion of depth, the IMAX 3D process uses separate camera lenses to represent the left and right eyes. The two lenses are separated by an interocular distance of 64 mm (2.5 in), the average distance between a human's eyes. Each lens feeds a separate roll of film. By projecting the two films simultaneously, viewers experience seeing a 3D image on a 2D screen. The IMAX 3D camera weighs over 113 kg (250 lb).



IMAX has featured many of your favorite movies in IMAX 3D or 2D such as Iron Man, Transformers, Dark Knight, Avatar, Tron and many more.

IMAX also comes at very expensive price. IMAX 3D tickets can cost up to 17 bucks. IMAX 2D movies would cost up to 15 bucks.
But most movies are worth it Such as The Dark Knight.
