Every once in a while someone will make a game that sucks. Every twice in a while someone will make an average game. But every once on a night with a blue moon a baby is born who will one day make a game that is totally awesome...MAG is one of those games.

Basics:
MAG (Massive Action Game) is a multiplayer FPS created by zipper interactive.
In it you can play as one of three PMCs (Private Military Company) in massive 256 player online matches. MAG is only available for the PS3 and costs $60. But it's worth every penny.

Story:
The year is 2025 and countries can no longer have armies, only enough soldiers to defend in an emergency. But PMCs have risen up to offer their services. But constracts are in short supply so the three PMCs (SVER, Valor and Raven) have to fight each other in order to be on top.

Gameplay:
There are three game types: Sabotage, Aqcusition and Domination, domanation being the largest. Each PMC has to try to win enough victories to be dominent in thses game types, if you win enough victories you get a contract, contracts give your PMC bonuses. Unlike COD where you just go around shooting people, in MAG you have to secure and defend objectives. You can also become Sqaud leader, Platoon leader, of Officer in charge. You also get experiance points which advance your lvl and allow you to buy weapons and abilities. Sadly, there is no single player campaign and no split-screen multiplayer.

Graphics:
Although MAG's graphics are not as good as COD it still is very nice. The maps in which you play on are huge, and best of all, it's lag-free.

MAG is a must buy game, if you have a PS3, get it. If you don't have a PS3, get one.
