Ahem, aye. You probably clicked on this blog for two reasons. One, you are offended by the tittle. Two, you are curious and your mind has not yet been corrupted by the views of the far radical leftists. If you are reading this for reason number one. Keep reading, it gets worse and I love it. If you are reading for reason number two, Keep an open mind, read, and learn.
Let's see where to start... Oh, call me conceited. It's true. It doesn't mean I'm wrong, keep that in mind.
In January 2005, the Mexican government meddled with an Arizona state law, Proposition 200, which had been passed overwhelmingly by the voters of Arizona. This measure mandated three things: It required proof of citizenship to vote in Arizona elections; it denied illegal aliens from receiving taxpayer benefits; and it instructed state employees who discover ineligible applicants to report violators to the authorities. As a border state with a severe illegal alien problem (Primarily from Mexico.) Arizonians took reasonable measures to defend themselves from illegals who were exploiting the system. Even 40 percent of Mexican Americans in Arizona voted yes on 200!
Now, the reaction south the border was astronomical... Even terroristic! The Mexican government was so angered by Arizona's attempts to restrict public benefits and denying voting privileges for non-U.S. citizens, Mexico threatened legal action against America!
Who gave Mexico the right to dictate American Policy? Last time I checked Arizona was not a Mexican territory. But hey, who knows!? Maybe the United states is 49 states? Mexico doesn't own Arizona, so why should they be allowed to tell Arizonians what they can and can't pass?
That hasn't stopped the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund. (Otherwise known as the enemy within.) They lectured us saying that Proposition 200 is, "An illegal, impermissible, unconstitutional state attempt to regulate immigration policy, which is a fundamental function and responsibility of our federal government. Proposition 200 is mean-spirited and un-American."
-coughReally?cough-
I think the Constitution
applies to Americans. Why throw out that it is unconstitutional if it doesn't apply to people who are not even American? I could not be happier this loop-hole was patched. Good job Arizona.
Mexico didn't just threaten Arizona, however. No, no, no... There's more. It seems our federal officials seem to be allies of those international forces who would override our democracy. Why hasn't there been one statement from our State Department backing the right to Arizona's citizens to do their part to protect our borders and sovereignty? Where is the outrage from the White House when Mexico threatens legal action against one of our states? Also, since that time, why hasn't Obama (in his three years of office) made any progress or even intuition about the growing problem on our borders?
To be continued.

A source meaning, I have read this and have used points that are mentioned in it. NOT a copy-paste.
By the way, as far as lowering prices.. It can be done without Government consent. I know this to be a fact. It primarily depends on the size of the company. It can be done, however.
One lame, yet true example is Walmart. In fact, you can look at a majority of the stores just around town. They might not have a bunch of Illegal immigrants working for them, but there are price differences. This is a terrible example so don't hold me to it.
Nope, your comment says they can't because the Government has control on these things.
That's a great example on how the Government is meddling with everything. I often wonder if anyone else sees any fault in the Government's continual and widening expansion. More power and control.
THERE MUST BE A BALANCE.
Immigration.
Nope, I can see eye to eye with one thing you said. But, I would actually tweak it a bit more to perfection.
"Also, I'm not advocating illegal immigration as you so seem to believe. I advocate making the ones already here legal in an effort to save some tax dollars and man power."
If each and every Illegal Mexican we have is taken and put through the process of Legalization, it would be wonderful! It's a great idea. It really is. I'm not being sarcastic. It really is a great idea. It would solve many problems. And it wouldn't effect our economy as much because they would not be getting free benefits.
But to ensure that it patched, I would take it further by either adding more patrols to the border, or by gradually creating a 9 foot tall steel fence that would eventually pay for itself.
Mexicans hoping to live a better life would only have to take the short walk through Legalization before becoming legitimate citizens of the United States.
One thing I forgot to mention earlier, is that the border is used not just for drug trafficking, and illegal immigration, but it is also used as a loop-hole for neighboring enemies to get into the U.S.
I was tempted to stop reading when you called us "Communist Bastards." But I read the idiocy anyways.
I'll briefly address the two main points in this article, since the rest is false-patriotic drivel.
On the subject of Child Labor-Simple, we've had immigrants here longer than child labor was around. As soon as that work force let out, companies realized that the immigrants were cheap and plentiful (didn't take long at all, really.) The fixed a problem with an new one.
Also, with pricing things cheaper, companies actually can't, and won't do it. Can't, in the sense that the government has itself inserted everywhere and has a control on how low these prices can actually go (in some cases, a price ceiling and floor, if you know basic economics.), and won't, because they make more money off of the pricing anyways.
Also, I'm not advocating illegal immigration as you so seem to believe. I advocate making the ones already here legal in an effort to save some tax dollars and man power. And the thing is, cheap labor has to stop somewhere. Obviously, you can't go sticking immigrants in positions which require skilled individuals to perform these tasks. And while companies may seem ready to hire the immigrants, they know what sort of risk they're taking when they do it as well. They realize that they could lose everything if caught, but again, do it because the rest of us Americans don't want to.
Also, you're a hypocrite for talking about Ad hominem right after calling use communists. it really does show how little substance your arguments have.
Not at all, I just don't see a point in arguing with someone who will not under any circumstances have a change of heart.
If you think it is close minded, I won't delete comments. I feel it will end up biting me in the ass, but at least I'm willing to see you side and accept that it is bad idea I should avoid.
What kind of belief is it if in the end people suffer rather than rejoice?
I do thank you for saying that. I see the error in that idea of mine.
Future blogs will not have comments removed, regardless.
You know what, I concede. I'm too tired at this moment to counter your arguments, and I'd rather just let any anger die than spend half and hour thinking of an answer. What I will say is that if you're going to delete comments from people who defend their beliefs, which doesn't mean it's fact, just their opinions, is very close-minded.
Wow, more comments than I thought. Time to re-address the issues here. I'm not commenting because I want to prove you all wrong. I'll just let you all know ahead of time.
I want everyone to live a happy prosperous life. I'm not saying,"Oh, spread the wealth!" Communist bastards..
I want you Ram and you Nope to know that I care about your well being. This applies to everyone. Now, not everyone can be happy. There will always be poverty in the world. I put money aside every pay-check for a charity. I don't preach this out I don't want you guys to look at me any different because chances are you won't. I care about people. Simple as that.
Now, I will argue without name calling. Why? Because direct insults to a person is a type of argument called Ad Hominem. Ad Hominem is a commom rather pathetic arguing type used by people who really have no basis for their side.
That being said, I expect a certain someone in the comment area to be respectful of anyone who comments. You don't fight fire with fire, especially in argument.
I am arguing against bad odds. Not only are there more Radical Leftists on this site, but they are closed minded and unwilling to accept the truth no matter how obvious it is.
It reminds me of an old saying.
"A mind convinced against its will, is of the same opinion still."
I don't believe I will ever get through to you all. Some of you are willing to accept that sometimes you are wrong. I humbly thank you.
I will continue to make blogs on these topics. Shoot them down with whatever you like, but for people whom I believe cannot be changed. Comments will be deleted.
No point hitting a rock with a stick, it won't become soft.
Again, I said I have no problem with legal Mexicans. If they come to the United States seeking work legitimately, there isn't a problem because they are American citizens.
Ram-
"Hard working Americans"... Do you know how many of those "Hard Workers" are mooching off of the Unemployment Benefits? THAT is damaging our economy worse than us Mexicans.
Completely irrelevant. Just because there exist Americans in the United States who do mooch off of unemployment benefits does not mean that Illegal Mexicans doing that have right of way.
In fact, that is a entirely different argument in itself.
By the way Ram, if you want to get into that... Getting rid of the unemployment benefits entirely would solve the whole problem. But you don't see our leaders doing that. And, I dare you to challenge me on this Unemployment topic, I've got an example I've been itching to use for a VERY LONG TIME that might widen some eyes..
Nope, do you know what Child Labor is? It's when children work doing the same jobs you and I do. Only, for a cheaper sum. In the 1900 this was a serious problem. Children worked for companies cheaply, and the owners sowed ALL the benefits.
Luckily, in the early 1900s it was made illegal for children under a certain age to work. However, it did strike an uprising...
Thousands of people in the United States near and far complained that the economy would collapse! They said, "With no one to do the dirty work the children were doing, we will surely have an economic collapse!"
But you know what? It never happened.
[CASE AND POINT]
Hilarious right?
Back to Immigration. some people say that allowing Mexicans to come here freely without any legalizing is a good idea. Unfortunately, there are severe consequences for an idea as preposterous as this.
A company hiring illegal Mexicans is at an advantage. Not only is the company profiting greatly off the cheap work, but they also decide how much the Mexicans are paid. Being Illegal employees, the only one knowing about the hiring is the company owner or manager of the establishment. It's almost slavery. Mexicans working cheaply put under the radar and being payed cash by the Company.
The Company also possesses the up-field advantage. They can price whatever it is they are selling lower than competitors, because employees are being payed so cheaply. Putting all the legitimate companies out of business. BUT HEY, IT GETS BETTER. Not only can the company that has Illegal Mexican employees put others out of business. But in order for competitors to keep up, they have to either lay off hard working employees, lower the paychecks, or go into hiring illegal employees as well.
And we've already discussed how dangerous it is to the economy to be here illegally. (Read comments below, basically, a bunch of free stuff, and weaseling out of taxes.)
With more and more companies sneaking in cheap illegal laborers, what do we have? A progressively widening problem in our economy. And finally, an economic collapse.
I can do this all day, well, almost all day. I have a life; and a job considering I don't lose that too. I haven't seen the condition of unemployment get any better. Another broken promise I suppose.
Yes, obviously you're not doing too bad if you can still afford your internet. Drop that and you'll have more money for food and shelter.
Also, I said, "most of the workforce that does that sort of work," not "all." Be less of a whiny little idiot.
Well Narwhal, I never said "All those", I said "How many". And in all honesty, is internet as important as food shelter and clothing? If you dropped that, you'd save more for the family.
"Do you know how many of those 'hard workers' are mooching of unemployment benefits?"
My dad was laid off a few months ago, and he cant get a job, no matter HOW HARD he tries and HOW MUCH time he spends away from our family. Unemployment doesnt even pay for the electric and gas bills. we get internet super cheap, luckily, and I have to make fences and shovel dirt for my family to eat. Guess why my dad cant get a job. Guess.

Yep, that's the best part. The illegal immigrants are willing to do the jobs that nobody else wants to do. Getting rid of them gets rid of most of the workforce that does the nasty, grimy, disgusting work that everyone else refuses to do.
RoD, Nope beat me to the economy argument, partially.
"Hard working Americans"... Do you know how many of those "Hard Workers" are mooching off of the Unemployment Benefits? THAT is damaging our economy worse than us Mexicans. Why? Because, instead of looking for a job, they sit around home, only half-assedly looking for a job, while joyfully waiting for their Government check. If you want, I'd like to see a Law passed that will return all Mexican immigrants back home. Then, look what will be shutting down. Stores, Factories, everything! The Economy will go to theoretical hell if you don't have your foot-servants manning the machinery and such. None of you "Hard Working Americans" would be willing to work for $4.75 an hour, no benefits, sick days, health insurance. They only report us in if we screw up, abd so, out of fear, we work hard enough so as to not get the boot, while woeking 2 other jobs as well.
Also, legalizing them would be a lot better than trying to force them out of the state. I won't spend too much time stating my point, because it's blatantly obvious, but legalizing them makes them liable to pay all of the taxes we have to pay. It also makes them liable to pay for everything else we have to pay for.
Forcing them out of the state (Arizona, in case anyone tells me "LOL US IS A COUNTRY" Costs more of the taxpayer's dollars than legalizing them would, and causes tension between the U.S. and Mexico. Sorry, but we aren't in the 1700's anymore, it's time to move on from the "glory days."
I want Mexicans to come and work in this country, but not at the cost of our Economy. I want Legal immigrants. Not border hoping illegals. It's just that easy.
Actually this blog does contain some information about Liberalism. I knew people would bring up that I went off-topic, that's why I included that it is, (1st blog of many.)
Ram, I never said they shouldn't come here for work. I, personally, have no problem with Mexicans working in the United States. But, it really damages our economy when they feed off of all our citizen benefits when they aren't an actual citizen.
This may come as a surprise to you all, but Illegal Immigrants have access to almost everything you and I have access too. Drivers license (in some states), Welfare, Education, all for free. They get free what most hard working Americans have to pay for. Not too mention that 85% of all illegal drug trafficking occurs on the borders, AND in states close to the border. Such as Arizona.
What has Arizona done here? Arizonian's know this, so they have a law to help prevent Illegal Immigration. If you want to tell me that Arizona should not be allowed to try filter the good from the bad, then there is something wrong here.
I don't call myself conservative or of the Right, or Left or anything. I call myself someone who wants to help the United States get back to it's original Glory. It just so happens that a majority of dangerous ideas (like Obama Care, which was passed illegally,) come from the Left. I'm not saying the Right is out of blame.. Nope.
I utterly despise people who attempt to pass laws that no one wants, restrict freedoms to a dangerous level, and pass laws they think will help, but will only make our situation worse and will end up biting them in the ass.
Yeah, I noticed that too. How come you completely deviated from your subject? I know Liberals are for legalizing immigrants,But you didn't even address their arguments. You just came right out and bashed the idea.
I honestly thank my Grandmother for deciding Chicago was a better State to settle in than stay in Texas or Arizona.
As a crazy Leftist Liberal "Wing-Nut", I took only slight offense. What bugged me is that actually, how many employers have you seen reporting the "illegals", instead of just keeping them to do work? They[we?] are a vital part of keeping your fat asses happy, and you treat us like scum for the majority of the time. I'm not saying that we ALL work, but really, the "Lazy Mexican" Stereotype[or whatever you want to call it] is quite ignorant and untrue.
Now, I'm not saying that the U.S. should give us Mexicans everything we want, but if we have to come here for work and money, then at least treat us like humans. Either that, or shut down just about every Big Name in Capitalism, since we're employed as 'illegals' by them.
You know what's ironic? You barely touched on your title's topic, instead going for an immigration debate instead. If I wanted, I'm sure I could go and say "Conservatism is the Conformist's Mindset" and just talk about a completely different issue.
I have used points/facts that are mentioned in the source.
What's stupid is looking at was has actually happened and not thinking anything of it.
Next blog contains researched topics not from a best selling book. Or, written by one of the smartest men in America.
The fact that people have closed their minds off from reality and live in their own little world where everything is nice shocks me. I hate that people like this live in the United states and it endangers it when these people are able to vote. Someone who will ignore things mentioned in this blog simply because of "used points" is not fit to comment at all.
