I have asked,My friends and teachers on their view of cosmetic surgery.

Heres what they,had to say.

"Self-esteem is a big issue for teen girls,but no amount of cosmetic surgery will ever diminish this issue. If a girl were to get cosmetic surgery,she would properly still find a million other problems with her body. It's better to learn to respect yourself, as you are than pretend to respect yourself only when you,have traces of plastic in your body. As for cosmetic surgery on older women,I think it is better to age gracefully than to lose your dignity chasing after something you no longer have."

"In some cases,it is medically crucial to get work done.But I cannot empathize with girls who go under the knife for cosmetic purposes. Although I respect the fact that it's a personal choice,I don't respect girls who make that choice. By altering the image you were born with,you are losing apart of yourself and it isn't natural. I believe you are what you are for a reason. So you should be content with what you have. Family and friends are much more important than cosmetic ideals.
In my eyes there is no point."

"Cosmetic surgery is a great idea, for men and women who are uncomfortable with their looks.
Especially if they've been in a horrible accident,or something like that. But I don't us teens should be allowed to have plastic surgery. Because our bodies are still growing.
I think that some teens should be able to have it if they have a disability, or need serious reconstructive surgery."

" I think teens who have cosmetic surgery are taking looks to the extreme.
I look at myself and say " This can be smaller" Or, " This could be larger.
But It doesn't mean I am going to have plastic surgery for it.
If girls really want plastic surgery,They should think about the impact it's going to have on your body.Bust jobs can "pop" and Nose jobs can stop you from breathing."
