I hugged Wendy goodbye and said.” Try finding a boyfriend, ok? I hate seeing you sad.” She smiles and replies.” Ok.” And I walk off to Rulia’s house. When I get there she is waiting for me, and she saw me she smiled I got enlightened. I swore to myself that every time she smiles everything stops to see her smile.

I run to her and hug her, and I whisper.” I would love to.” She blushes a little and whispers back.” Thank you.” I giggle, and ask.” Why did you say thanks? Is there a huge line of boys who asked?” She hesitates for a second, then replies.” Yeah.” You know girls will ask a lot of questions. About this.” She smiles a little.” Yeah, I know, I wouldn’t care.” We run to school and get there really early, I whisper to her.” I here foot steps…” She replies. It’s my friends and maybe----“ She is interrupted by not a surprise Luke.

When he spots me he opens his mouth to say something, but I say.” You aren’t going to say something about me are you?” He shuts his mouth, I choke out.” Good boy.” Rulia snickers, making Luke raise an eyebrow.” What happened last night? Why were you crying?” She flinches as if she was about to be hit. I step up and hiss.” It’s our business only.” He flinches and says.” O-okay.”

Rulia looks at me. I know what she was thinking. And I was thinking the same. She killed a member of the Cray-Coon clan. And they will be coming…Really soon. Luke was saying something, I ask him.” What, were you saying?” He stutters.” I was just asking her to the St. Xocolates dance.” I look at her. She says softly.” I’m going with Slake.” He turns red.” You trying on for another round?” He turns so red I thought he was steamed.

But he calms down. I smirk.” Good boy.” He storms off. The day flies by. And the dance is about to start. She grabs my arm and runs us into the dance and whispers.” You know what to do.” She was right. I put one hand on her waist, and pull her close with my other, and whispers.” I’m horrible at dancing.” She giggles and replies softly.” I’ll lead you.”

I sigh in relief and said.” Thanks, It makes me feel better.” She replies with a giggle and says.” I’m glad.” We sway side to side, slowly. The hour was so slow and delightful. I wanted to last forever. Rulia whispered to me.” I’m sleeping over tonight.” I reply.” I thought your mom hated me. She does doesn’t she” She replies.” Yeah. But it lifted when you saved me.” I nod not knowing her mother would care about me saving her, and says.” Ok.” The party ended, Rulia and I walk to my house. Wendy was waiting for us.

Wendy greets us, and says.” Hello, Rulia. And my little brother.” I smiled, hugged her, and said.” Rulia is sleeping over.” Wendy smiled, and said.” Okay.” Rulia asks.” Where do I sleep?” Wendy shrugs.” In Slake’s room. He can’t sleep in his bed-“ I interrupt her.” I’ll sleep in my closet or my tree house.”

Wendy nods in approval. Rulia smiles.” At we will be in the same room.” I smile back happily.” I agree.” Then we fell asleep.

The next morning I awake with a heavy weight on me. It was Rulia. She was cuter asleep… I smiled, and tried getting her off without waking her. But I fail. So I lay there smiling at her.
Meanwhile…

Aqua finds herself running from her own sister, Mia. Like Slake, these two aren’t mortal, Aqua a werewolf child and Mia a vampire child. Aqua panting hard screams.” We can’t keep this up!” Mia replied. “ Maybe you can’t but I can!” Both Aqua and Mia collapse of exhaustion.
Back at Slake’s house…

“ Rulia,” Slake whispers.” Wake up please.” Rulia wakes up and blushes.” I’m sorry. I just was lonely.” Slake smiles.” It’s ok… Let’s get breakfast, ok?” Rulia smiles.” Okay.”
