To those who don't have their own website, its really easy to make on without paying or putting in important info or anything. Once you get started its fun editing and doing other stuff on it. The first step to building a website is where to make one. Theres thousands of site-building websites over the net, and most of them are pretty much useless! I registered to a site building site and then regretted that I even singed up! Here are some site builders to try if you are new to making a site.
Finding A Site Builder Webs.com- Good if your making a site for your buisness [not like you will probaly have one!]Its also good for blogs, news and other stuff like that. Also good for a surport site and a "how to" site.
Yola.com- A good browsing site builder, lets say you were making a wiki page of something, this is the builder to use.
Vistapanel.net- Good for what you get, it's more of a hosting builder than a site builder. Perfect if you are making a DSi-compatable site even though you have to learn loads of HTML.
WIRENODE- A good mobile- building site.
Bringing Members To Your Site 1) Add it to Google by typing in "add url to google" and it should soon appear on it... mine took 8 hours. Also try adding it to Yahoo and Bing.
2) Write a blog about it at Blogspot.com. That usally works!
3) Don't spam it! No-ones going to join your site if you spam it, just post it the odd now and again... you get a few extra members from it...
Most site-builders spam e-mail even when it says "Don't worry, we don't spam mail!" So just be aware of that. Oh, and if you want your site in colum view automatically there is this special HTML code you put at the top of your page... I don't know it but if you do please post it down there↓↓↓!
