Derek saw a familiar face. It was Aunt Sky, surrounded by at least a dozen wizards. The faint yellow glow aroud her suddenly got brighter, and the wizards closed in. She raised her staff with both hands, and the vines of many trees came to life and wrapped themselves around the men. They were slung around and slammed into trees hardly, and then squeezed until they were dust. Aunt Skye grinned and ran right past Derek, not even paying attention to him. Nearby, Cein stood next to a tall armored man, with a deadly sword by his side. The man laughed deeply. "Lord Nero, I can take her out swiftly. She is not as powerful as he believes, and that will be proven as she dies!" cackled Cein. The large armored man said nothing, and Derek could not see his expression due to the mask. "I'll do it myself. I want the foolish magician to know it was I that killed his favorite!" bellowed Lord Nero. He took one step and drew his sword, and ran. It took Derek a second to realize what was going on, and he tried to scream. He turned and saw where Lord Nero was. Lord Nero was behind Aunt Skye, and he raised his sword. The blade came down, there was a scream, and a large white stag ran in the scene. Derek now stood over his aunt's body. He suddenly woke up screaming, "No!" and his hands were ablaze. Derek was too tired to know it, though. He shook his head and they were stopped. It was dark, about two in the morning and Aunt Skye stood outside looking around. She noticed Derek was awake and said, "Good morning. You have a good dream?" Derek shook his head and told her everything. All she responded with was, "Mrynn..." He knew his aunt was aware of something he did not. All of a sudden, there was a loud noise and a flash of light. Three men in robes and trench coats slowly walked out, and staffs appeared in their hands. Aunt Skye looked at Derek, and warned him to run. Derek refused, because he wanted to fight and he wanted to protect his aunt...
