Hey guys it's been forever since I last wrote a short story on here. I'm very very rusty. So bare with me here! anyways. Here goes. Be sure to let me know if you want a part two or there or what haves you


It seems like it all happened just yesterday. The high pitched screams and all the crying. The constant crying. Oh, my heart just stops when I think about it all. Before I go any further here, let me introduce myself,
I'm Hallie Barkes, 16 year old junior at Hill Sap High. I was never scared of anything, back last year. I was the social butterfly and the one who NEVER shut up. However, sometimes, like most teens, i was moody. Moody mood moody. Today, was one o those days where I was the socialite of the school, the local mouth of the south. I was talking to my friends, Jennifer and meagan, my best friends since kindergarten. We were talking about the same old high school stuff, who wa dating who and about that awesome party from last week, when all the sudden, the air felt still. An akward silent still. No one was talking anymore the hall was so quiet you could hear a pen drop. I stood still, all the silence was soon replaced with horrific screms and yells, people running down the hallways yelling just one word, "RUN!" I was so confused, I had no idea what was happening, I was so panicy and frantic, before I could take my friends bythe hand I could see towers of smoke bellowing out of the hallway, the smoke clouding the room, screaming, I ran out the hall. I ran and ran untill finally I was far enough away from the smoke that I could see, stupidly, I turned around and just stared down the narrow dark and cloudy hallway. I felt as if someone was still back there, like someone was stuck, so I walked back towards the smoke on my hands and knees crawling like I was in some type of army basic training and yelled down the hallway "hello???? Is anyone back here??" Suddlenly I heard a muffled yell "help me! Please! I cant see anything!" I cough and fanned away as much smoke as I could, i could feel the hall getting hotter and hotter from the inferno just down the hall. Quickly I opened the door to room nine and peeked inside, I starte to call for the person in help when I heard a muffled cry...............
