HELLO EVERYONE! With the end of fall nearing I thought I'd make a blog with a few short poems about my FAVORITE season!
Fall
The old earth is changing
The seasons turn round
The autumn leaves flutter
Their way to the ground
My own world is changing
The seasons conspire
To grant me the peace
Of a rest by the fire
Autumn Leaves
One of the nicest beds I know
Isn't a bed of soft white snow
Isn't a bed of cool green grass
After a noisy mowers pass.
Isn't a bed of yellow hay
Making me itch for half a day
But autumn leaves in a pile this high
Deep and smelling like fall and dry
Thats the bed where I love to lie
And watch the flutter of fall go by
Autumn
When the trees their summer spledor
Change to raiment red and gold
When the summer moon turns mellow
And the nights are getting cold
When the squirrels hide their acorns
And the woodchucks disappear
Then we know its autumn
The loveliest time of year
I hope you enjoyed these as much as I do.
