The next day I woke up like any normal day. I got took a shower, got dresses and had breakfast. I the news on the internet. Of course I saw Todd Sherry, CEO of Blast corp. gets married today and at 12 o'clock when the wedding ended, everyone was invited to the after party. I had a feeling Claire wasn't up for a wedding like that. She had told me once, if she were to get married, she'd want a small, private one. Man, the great times we had together. And now, they are going to mean nothing once she's gone. I was just feelibg so terrible. Then I realized, what the heck am I doing!? I got up off the chair and checked the time, 11:30, man I overslept. I wrote a quick note to Chris. It said 'I'm going to stop the wedding and I'm talin your bike. Thanks!' I ran outside with Chris's bike and started pedaling.
I zoomed across the road, dodging cars and almost hitting some people. I didn't really care. The only thing that matters now is Claire. I have to tell her whats been truly locked inside all these years. I headed straight to the church using all my strentgh I could find in my body. I checked my watch, 11:45. I still have a chance!! I made it to the church, threw the bike over and ran inside yelling "CLAIRE!". Everyone in the church turned around to see me. "John, what are you doing here?" Claire said. She looked gorgeous in her dress. "Yeah what the heck?!" Todd yelled. "Claire, I have to tell you somthing!" I said. "Its that important you have to interrupt my wedding?!" she yelled. "The nerve of men like you, saying your to good to have me as a friend and its not worth while coming to my wedding and then just barge in and ruin it!" she yelled as she walked up to me and slapped me in the face. "Clair-" I tried to talk as she slapped me in the face. "Ow... Claire I didn't and would never say things like that! Who told you that?" I said "Look are we really disscussing this NOW? Babe, were getting married remember??" Todd said, but Claire didn't seem to listen. "Todd said that you-" I cut in and said, "Don't trust him in anything that he says! He's just an idiot and is cheating on you when he's away!" I said furiously. Claire looked shocked. "Todd, i-is this true?" she said, almost in tears. "You know what... Yeah! I cheated on you, sure your pretty but your not even worth my time. I have ten times hotter chicks back at the city. I just decided to marry you becuase you looked all sad and of course why would any other guy want y-" he was interrupted by my fist in his face. "Your such an idiot. Claire is the most wonderful girl you can find. She's one in a million. You were lucky she even looked at you. And you know what?" I turned around, looked at Claire in the eyes. She was crying, but I said, "I love you Claire." She right looked back at me. Then she kissed me. She said "I don't know why I never told you... But really you are the one that has always been there for me, the one to help me and comfort me. I'm sorry I never truly saw how amazing you are." I was still in shock with my kiss with Claire. It was like a jolt, almost a shock that ran through my body. But finally I said "Its okay Claire. As long as were together. So how about it?" I hadn't even noticed everyone elses reaction in the church. But I didn't really care. It seemed like the perfect moment. Until Todd got back up. Had a black eye and looked furious. "Fine take her! She's not worth anything! Shes just a stupid wate of space and time!" Then Claire ran upto him and kicked him right in the- ouch, that must have really hurt... A lot. Then Todd ran/limped out of the church ashamed and disliked. Then Chris walked in. "So... Does this mean no after party?
Epilouge
The months after that me and Claire got together and moved out of the apartment and found a nice house to live in. Claire and I both convinced Chris to go to a collage. Suprisingly enough, he gave in once we told him about video game designers. As for Todd, he's still living it large, but alone. I still can't believe how things worked out, but I'm sure glad it did.
