Well. I've heard the battery only lasts about. 500 charges so it could be the battery even if it says it's duly chargedThat 500 charges thing is only for the 3DS
Quoth Lucas7quote]Then what if you sent it in to Nintendo? I've never done that, but would they be able to fix it then?It costs alot.[/quote] only $60

My DS does this. Did you use Action Replay? If not, its either water or age. Bring it to gamestop to get it fixed.
Maybe the battery came a bit loose.
Get your dad (or anyone else very careful) to unscrew the battery cover.
The battery cover is on the far right on the back of your DSi. (At least on my launch UK model, TWL-001 (EUR)
Make sure your DSi is:
1. Turned off
2. Not plugged in to a charger
Push the battery in a bit.
Now turn it on again, and see if it works.
If not, then you'll have to order a new battery.
Look in your DSi manual for battery info.
Then call the Nintendo Service Centre and tell them about your problem.
Ask for a new battery, then wait.
When it comes, get your dad to put it in your DSi. (Get your dad to read the battery replacement info in the manual)
If that doesn't work:
You need a new DSi.
