Hello, noobs. I am here to give you a lesson on colour. Colour is what makes the world a little less dull. So I figured. It's pretty important.

To start off, there are three primary colours. There are yellow, red, and blue. You may ask, well what makes a colour primary? Primary colours are the three main colours that can be mixed to form secondary colours. So say you see some bright blueberries. That blue that you see doesn't have to be mixed with another colours this making it independent.

Next in the list is secondary colours. Secondary colors are the colours that include two equal amounts of primary colours. Secondary colors are Orange, Violet, and Green. So in order to get orange, you must mix red and yellow together. Note how red and yellow are primary colors. Violet must come from red and blue. And green is yellow and blue. You may get shades of orange, violet, and green in, say painting, but to get the true secondary form, primary colours MUST be equal.

As you can see here, the largest circles are the primary colours, the next largest are the secondary colours, and the smallest ones are tertiary colours. You can get tertiary colors by mixing a primary colour with an adjacent secondary colour. These are commonly called "(colour)ish (colour)" For example, mixing blue and green would create blue-ish green.

Also referring to the image above, you may have noticed how they labeled "warm" and "cool" colours. Warm colours give you a feeling of fire or the season of Fall. This would include red, orange, yellow, etc. Cool colours give you a feeling of ice or the season of Winter. This would include blue, violet, or green.

Another thing is complementary colours. Complementary colours are usually directly across from each other on the colour wheel. These colours usually seem to go hand in hand with each other. A few examples of that is blue and orange, violet and yellow, and red and green. Notice how the three example I listed include one primary colour and one secondary colour.
