School is boring but now nearly done
Sometimes I feel like i could get up and run...
But I always resist as I would get nowhere,
I just smile and think, "School's nearly over!"

Every morning I slowly get out of bed
as math problems and schoolwork dance in my head,
Figures and digits and all that stuff,
But I just smile and think, "School's nearly over!"

As I stand at the bus stop, I always remember,
the days of vacation like May and December.
But as I cheer myself up with the thoughts, I just smile and think, "School's nearly over!"

As I sat in my desk on the last day of school,
I sneer at the teacher as she will no longer rule.
The seconds tick down, click click,
And I think to myself, "School is over!!!"
