So, shall we start?"
A very, very long time ago, two twin cats were born into the royal family of a far-away nation...
The boy was named Solar, and the girl was named Lunar. Their parents had passed away, murdered shortly after they had been born. The two did not know it at the time, but they had been birthed under heavy, very heavy expectations.

The twins, as young children, were seemingly inseparable. It seemed as though they were the best of friends to the adults who so closely watched them - because, of course, they were...
Until that fateful day, that is.

The adults that always kept a careful eye on them were doing just that for a reason: Depending on which twin displayed a greater talent for ruling, they would choose one to take the throne of the dead rulers. "The girl seems to have quite the ruling spirit," they would often murmur amongst themselves. "And the boy seems to have a great devotion to his sister."
So, as the two were playing in the garden one afternoon, making flower crowns for each other, the royal advisor suddenly came and stole Lunar up. Lunar was confused as she was dragged away from Solar.
"S-Solar?!" She yelled as her brother, too, was snatched by the head maid of the house and loaded into a carriage headed for the country. "Where are they taking me? Wait, where are you going?! Brother!..."
Solar tried yelling back at his sister, but their voices were drowned out by the clopping of the horse's hooves on the cobblestone road.
So it was decided.
The sister would rule, and the brother would serve.

A few more years pass, and the siblings are now fourteen years old.
"What do you want?" Lunar snapped at the lowly servant from her throne.
"Milady, I-"
"HURRY! I have no time for this."
"Someone would like to see you, milady," the servant responded, trembling before the mighty princess. The adults from so long ago were right; the princess Lunar indeed possessed a natural gift for ruling. Her palace was filled with riches from all over the world, her money was infinite, and her subjects ever loyal to her.
There was just one thing wrong with her.
She was a mean little ruler, treating her subjects harshly and forcing them to pay her huge taxes.
"Bring him in!!!" The princess boomed across the hall.
As the doors widely opened, there stood another cat who looked so similar to herself, except while Lunar had lovely crescent moons on her forehead and chest, this stranger had suns.
"Milady," said the stranger in a direct tone to the princess. "I would like to serve you to my highest degree of loyalty. Please permit me."
"How dare he talk to me like that so openly?" Lunar thought proudly, but held her tounge in secret admiration for the boy's tone. Something about his voice rang a bell in her memory - just like the bells that had blessed her at her birth.
"Very well, then," Lunar sniffed. "You shall serve. But keep to your promise of loyalty. Now, what is your name?"
The servant looked up to the princess with dedicated eyes.
"I am Solar, and I shall serve only you, milady."
Now, as months passed, the servant and the princess had become quite fond of each other as they would to siblings. As Solar attended to Lunar one day, he saw her gazing at a picture of a cat with a deep cobalt coat and a scarf of sky blue. Solar knew that this was Winter, the cat that Lunar was in love with, but Solar and Lunar also knew that the cat had chosen the neighboring kingdom's girl of green and turquoise, Spring. The princess was filled with rage at this, and as Solar waited outside her door, Lunar called her minister over. In a very low, quiet voice, the princess ordered: "Greatly disturb the country of green. Now," she continued, "where is my servant? Bring him here." Solar tottered over to her, scared stiff about what Lunar had just demanded.
"Yes, milady?" He tried to keep his voice as steady as possible.
"I have a favor to ask of you...
"But first, it's time for snack."

The she-cat with a coat of blood red set down her drink with a wavering hand. "So you say the Daughter of Green was recently murdered?" She asked the bartender. The swords on her forehead, chest, and armor seemed to glitter with a shine of its own.
"Yes, Lady Crimson. Even the whole green kingdom was destroyed and burned. Quite sad, hm?"
"Very." She sighed as she thought of Spring. It was known that Winter, the prince of the blue kingdom, was greatly in love with her and that the princess Lunar was jealous. Perhaps the princess ordered the killing. Crimson sighed again as she remembered how mercilessly Lunar had treated her when she had been short on money. "I wonder what Winter will do now," she thought as none other than the Prince of Blue burst through the doors of the small tavern.
"Crimson," he softly said, a deathly sad glint in his eyes.
"Come with me and help me capture the daughter of evil."

There was a terrific battle in the kingdom, and even the princess's own people were against her because of all the anger that had built up over the years. The soldiers of the castle, battered from the green war, could not hold a proper defense and the princess was captured.
The princess was to be executed at three o'clock, when the bells resounded.
As the princess in the guillotine looked over the crowd, she smiled and said the line that was her favorite.
"Oh, time for snack."
The executioner's blade fell bluntly and ended the princess.
