Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D Features A Post-Storyline Storyline
Start a new quest after you complete the original quest in the revamped 3DS quest that is Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D! …Quest!
You know what makes life worthwhile? Quests. Just ask any RPG character. Without quests, they are but pixellated puppets dancing a merry dance of existential meaninglessness. Without quests, dear reader, then you’re left with a question; what’s the point?
If you’re the kind of gamer who requests a quest after your quest, then you need quest for answers no longer, as Siliconera has acquiesced by confirming Dragon Quest Monsters 3D’s post-quest quest.
It slices, it dices! Not much to look at, but the perfect kitchen assistant!
According to the report, completing the original Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D storyline will then unlock a second quest. Similar to the likes of Zelda‘s ‘Master Quest’, albeit not mirrored and peculiar.
Monster encounters will ramp up in difficulty as powerful beasties come out to play. There’s also apparently some ‘special meat’ to track down, which we’re assuming is nothing to do with that whole other thing involving meat products.
There’s also apparently an extra plot involving the ‘King of Corbi’ and the ‘King of Malta’, a reference to Dragon Quest Monsters 2: The Mysterious Key To Malta. Terry seems set to meet up with his older sister Milly as they work to find out the mysteries of a rather foreboding star that has appeared.
Interestingly, Nintendo Everything has a scan of Jump magazine’s reveal of this knowledge. There’s a picture of the full cast of kings and heroes at the bottom-right, loomed over by mysterious ne’er-do-wells.
Due in Japan on May 31st, Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D is tantalisingly close for 3DS owners in Nintendo’s homeland. With more content than you could shake a Slime at, it’s really looking to be one of the 3DS system’s true heavy-hitters.
Which means they’re bound to announce the Western release date any day now, right?
