The iconic symbol of the 60's, what makes the mustache so special? Perhaps it's the masculine structure. The rough, yet delicate form that says, "I'm a man". Or perhaps it's a sign of authority, such as Theodore Rosevelt, Adolf Hitler, or Stalin.


All we know is that people with mustaches stand out. They seem experienced, like a master of some craft. Some superior race of man, who have somehow unlocked the meaning of life. They stand proud, boasting. While the world worries abouTt the challenges of life, economy, resources, and so on, the mustached counterpart stands firm knowing that all will be fine. Their confidence showing in that devilish smile.


So then, we ask ourselves, why does every man not have a mustache?


The hidden truth: Only real men can have the honor, the glory that a mustached man humbly bears. When a man grows a mustache, his life changes. The New York Times published a study that showed "Men with mustaches take home 8.2 percent more money than bearded employees and 4.3 percent more than clean-shaven employees.". Other online poles showed that 83% of women think that "A man with a mustache is more masculine then his clean cut counterpart." Another survey of 100,000 women in 1988 found that 68% confirmed that a man with a moustache was a superior lover than his clean lipped neighbor.
