I will be stronger
And stop this mess
Stop for longer
And under no duress.

I will get through this
And keep on fighting
Even when I fail or miss
This mess needs righting.

Even though I'll cry
Shedding plenty tears
I'm going to keep fighting till I die
Fighting all my fears.

Yeah it's hard for me
And sometimes I hurt
Sometimes I want to flee
'Specially when I fall in the dirt.

But I pull myself up again
And brush off all the muck
I'm not completely sane
And I might not have much luck.

But at least I'm trying
Starting to believe in myself
Not thinking of dying
Leaving the blades on the shelf.

I'm not doing this on my own
He's right behind me always
He makes me believe I'm not alone
He loves me or so he says.

I'm doing it for him as well as me
In myself he wants me to believe
And I think I'm starting to see
My fears and hurts will eventually leave.

Anyone else who's been through
Pain and hurt just like me
I believe in every one of you
Though belief in yourself is key.
