Here's a picture of the jacket when it is complete.

Materials:
1.) jean jacket (the darker the better)
2.) bleach.. lots and lots of bleach
3.) bucket, you can also use your bathtub (IT MUST BE CLEAN.)
Optional:
A.) Scissors

Step 1: Pour the bleach into your bathtub/bucket, enough to coat your jacket fully.

Step 2: Soak the jacket until fully coated with bleach for about 1-2 hours (depending how light you want your jacket to be).

[Optional: You make some small cuts into the denim to get a more destroyed look using the scissors. Then you can cut the sleeves off to make it into a vest.]

Step 3: When it's finished soaking I usually go wash the jacket at my local laundry mat on Wednesday, but you can wash the bleach out in your bathtub and hang it up to dry. But, you're gonna smell kinda like a public bathroom.

Step 4: You're absolutely finished! Now go look like a rockstar.

You can customize it a little bit more, with some spikes on the shoulders and a flag stitched on the back! It's all up to you.
