kay so I had an assignment in class to change Jabberwocky from strange words to new words. I ended up changing the poem and mixing it with king Arthur's story.
It was the time of boiling, and
The strange looking lizards dug holes in the land:
The birds were in misery, just like a crow,
And the green pigs had thrown out a really big growl.
"Beware of the green-eyed dragon, my son!
The mouth that breaths fire, the wings that have just hatched!
Kill the joyous birds faster than a gun,
And the furious creature, you must catch!"
Arthur took Excalibur from the stone,
The sword in its place always shone.
The dragon rested by the apple tree,
About to take off at the village and roam free.
In a hateful manner it stood,
The dragon, the teeth that ate through wood,
Burned and walked through the forest, with flame from its mouth,
And it gargled on it's way south.
Slashing and cutting the biggest of all mice,
Came the hits of the Sword of Ice,
He cut its head with his sword,
Keeping, for his dad, his word.
"Have you slain the danger from coming to this village?
Boy, you saved us from a true pillage!
What's that in your hand?
Whoever takes the sword becomes the leader of the land!
My boy, you have a heart of gold,
Only a true leader can take out the sword, I've been told.
A leader, we've been seeking,
Therefore, you'll be crowned King."
