I've noticed that most of my blogs have been quite rantlike so here's a positive proton note; Golf Tutor.

I swear that after watching this for 1 month, I significantly lowered my score from 100 to 80. I never thought I would ever break 100 in my entire life!

The programme assumes no knowledge of golf and additionally explains all the technical jargon to the lay golfer. I do know all the stuff but the simplicity makes it easier to comprehend. I no longer fade my shots (unless I intend to) which is quite a breakthrough! I can finally land on the fairway! I still have difficulties with drivers but I'll learn how to power my shots without spin. Drivers truly are a pain.

Golf Tutor also helped me to figure out my distance. I've always ended up hitting a 6 iron when it's 180 yards away and landing ridiculously short. But now, I'm guaranteed to at least hit the green (even if it bounces off) which is better than fading it into the forest nearby!

It's helped with putting too. I always either ridiculously under/over hit it. If I hit it right, the break is probably going to make me miss anyway. But now, I have a 5 foot radius around the hole providing that it's a moderate green. I still make silly mistakes but that doesn't matter.

It's just the best show on television. They sold me high quality golf clubs and a state of the art golf ball. It has rubber inside which gives it a better bounce. They even showed me a technique to keep my balance mid-swing. It seriously is the by-product of a genius' mind. I rate it 9/10. It's not on frequently enough to get 10/10!
