Looking over the past comments, seeing the paraphrasing of "Disney isn't as bad as you make it out, stop being judgemental without any solid facts and statistics as to Disney's popularity" and then every now and then a chirp of "OMG Disney suk dere films r crap" Now, go look at their progress charts and popularity graphs. Disney are just about the grand owner of the largest fanbase in media history, and appeal to a wide range of ages. Lucasarts I THINK are not far behind, though popularity has dwindled with the release of newer shows. Put the two together, and then the result will have a high chance of being a popular film.
Never judge a film by it's producers, and never slander said producers with opinionated evidence about as solid as a dead leaf.

I think that's a bit prejudice. Just because Disney's going to make it, doesn't automatically make it bad. Give it a try. Don't just focus on the big company names and already call it bad. I hate when people say that. Most of the time, people are wrong. But sometimes they're right. But you'll never know till you try.

Though this may push my point aside little, theres many good examples of people judging things by their brand or company name. For example, many young children like fast food restuarants, some better than others. Most seem to like McDonalds brands a lot. So scientist tested to see wether it was the food they liked or was it because it was just because it was McD's food that made them come back.

So they took store brand burgers, cooked them as the instructions listed on the frozen packages listed, then wrapped them in McD's wrappers, and called it McDonald's burgers. They feed them to the children, the children did not seem affected at all. They ate it and said it was good. Then they presented them with the store brand without the McD's wrappers covering them. The children hesitated to eat them because it wasn't McD's food, when technically those were the type of burgers they ate before hand. They just judged it because it didn't say it came from McDonalds.

But aside from that, I think that kinda supports my point when people automatically say somethings bad, just because they aren't from the producers/providers they love. Just give it a shot, there may still be small differences, but they're still burgers.

And btw, did you know Marvel was brought by Disney too?

Jonny depp is the inly thing that makes pirates of the carrabian good xD It was well written i agree. Thats the only good one I am aware of now. Though pirates of the carrabian is based on another movie and is 90% copied with a bit of humor. i can't remember the name

Actually, the Studio Ghibli films aren't made by Disney, Disney simply handles the dubbing and International distribution stuff. They also have rights to most of the newer stuff.

Anybody read the republic commando series? Remember the cliffhanger? Yeah, well since the tv show claimed mandalorians were "pacifists", they decided to just cut the series. Not like anybody reads books anyways, we'd all rather watch the awkward teenage years of anakin. Much more fascinating.

And Disney isn't a bad company. They easily have the means to at least make it look great and the movie is also based on the books which means it'll still have the story writing of Georgs Lucas.
This is really an overreaction. You could at least wait to see what happens before completely denouncing it just for being sold.
