Hi there. Most of you know about The Mystical Journey, the MMORPG for the Nintendo 3DS Browser (and maybe DSi?) being developed by a team of SDK members.

I have had a project to create a MMORPG for the Nintendo 3DS Browser running for a year now, called Project Triniate.

Since I have worked a year on it now, I would like to share the progress with you, since it's coming along well.

What is project Triniate?
Project Triniate is heavily inspired by the famous game Runescape. In the game you fight with monsters, complete quests, trade items, cut wood, and that basic stuff. I am trying to bring those elements to your Nintendo 3DS Browser.

The hardest challenge
The hardest challenge of the project, is that the 3DS Browser does not have much RAM available. This causes the browser to execute scripts slowly, but the 3DS Browser is even worse at displaying graphics.
I am constantly rewriting code to make the game have as little lag as possible.

What does the game look like?
There are a few ways for you to see what the game looks like right now. The easiest way it to just go to Triniate's website and play the game, but the game is not free yet because I don't want everybody to play it yet. (the game will be free when it's done, though)

What features will the final product have, and what features are already made?
Already made:
- Character customisation
- Fighting system
- PvP areas
- Quests
- Shop

- Crafting
- Mining and woodcutting

- Gaining exp in different skills (fighting, woodcutting, ect)
- Chat
- Using items


To be done:
- Storyline
- Bosses
- Leaderboards
- Minigames
- Friend system
- Moderator system
- Teleporting
- Making/ equipping weapons

I'd say the engine is about 70% done, but the game is currently running in a testing environment. When the engine is done, I'm going to start making the actual maps and the storyline.

I don't like giving away any information about a release date, since it sets a limit. What I can tell you however, is that I am aiming to release Triniate somewhere in 2013.
