Goldenrod City. I loved this city, for the simple reason that it was huge. There was so much to do here! Besides the gym, of course. There was a department store, a photography service, the radio tower, the global terminal, and a flower shop. The department store was especially helpful, selling everything from berries to TM's. But, now was no time for shopping. I had a gym battle to do.
The gym was extremely girly, and the only thing good about that was the fact that there were a TON of girls in the gym. And the gym leader, Whitney, was by far the strongest, and hottest, girl there. There was no time to be flustered by looks, though. Today, I was going to make a girl cry. Great.
I neared the battlefield. There she was, Whitney. Wait... Now I remember her! She was in the radio tower! Oh, my God, she looked amazing. Long hair, short-shorts... No, now wasn't the time. I'll wait for her interview after the battle... When she was in tears. "Hello, challenger- Heeey, I saw you at the Radio Tower!" I looked down, embarrassed. "Yeah, you did..." I muttered. I really didn't want to battle her... But I had to. "I didn't know you trained Pokemon. What's your name?" She asked me. "I'm Star..." I managed to sputter out. "Well, Star, prepare to lose! Go, Clefairy!" She sent out her Clefairy with stunning elegance. "Go, Prince Kai!" I threw my Pokeball, and Prince Kai stepped on to the battlefield. "Aww, what a cute Pokemon!" She then frowned, unhappy. "Too bad I have to kill it. Clefairy, use DoubleSlap!" Clefairy jumped in front of Prince Kai, and slapped him twice in the face. I cringed, knowing how hard a girl could slap someone. "Prince Kai, use Yawn!" Prince Kai gaped, making an adorable yawning sound. A little white cloud floated out of his mouth, and hit the Clefairy. Clefairy stumbled, suddenly tired.
"Clefairy, DoubleSlap again!" Clefairy slapped Prince Kai hard, and again I cringed. Prince Kai had red marks on his cheeks from the slap. "Prince Kai, use Metronome!" I personally loved Metronome. I usually got lucky with it. This time, however, I wasn't as lucky. Prince Kai waggled a finger, and then glowed purple. He started doing a dance. "Togepi, Togepi, Togepi!" Prince Kai chanted. Lucky Chant. This wasn't the best move ever, but it protected Prince Kai from any really hard hits. This would help later on, I hoped. Clefairy suddenly slumped over, Prince Kai's yawn taking effect. Clefairy fell asleep.
"Clefairy, wake up!" Whitney shouted. I shook my head, pitying her and her Pokemon. "Use Extrasensory!" I needed some damage dealt before Clefairy woke up. Prince Kai pointed at Clefairy, sending an invisible psychic force at her. Clefairy shook violently for a moment, before flying across the room, landing at Whitney's feet. Clefairy still slept. "Wake up!" Whitney stomped her feet, agitated. "Prince Kai, Extrasensory again." Again, he sent another invisible energy blast at Clefairy. This time, Clefairy flew forward, coming farther away from Whitney.
"I said wake up!!!" Whitney looked worried now. Clefairy woke up and slowly rose to her feet. "Clefairy, Metronome!" Clefairy waggled her finger. Suddenly, both of her arms glowed blue, and grabbed Prince Kai tightly, squeezing him. Clefairy had used Clamp. "Prince Kai, Metronome!" Prince Kai waggled his finger. His arm then glowed green. He slapped Clefairy, making a distinct whip sound. Prince Kai had used Vine Whip.
Prince Kai didn't look good. I'd have to switch out. I held up my Pokeball, sending the red beam of at Prince Kai. The red beam bounced off of him. "Hahah, you cant switch!" Whitney mocked. Oh no, I thought to myself. Clamp was preventing me from switching. Prince Kai couldn't take much more of this. "Double Slap!" Prince Kai was slapped, and slapped again. It hurt to watch. I could see the end nearing... "Prince Kai, Yawn!" My voice cracked accidentally, and Whitney giggled. Prince Kai yawned again, hitting Clefairy with the cloud of sleepiness. She stumbled.
"Clefairy, use Mimic!" Clefairy started thinking hard. I guess she learned Yawn in place of Mimic...? I don't know. Maybe. I hoped she didn't live long enough to use it. Yawn was a threatening move. "Prince Kai, Extrasensory!" Prince Kai sent his invisible psychic energy at Clefairy, but instead of flying a fair distance, she just shook violently, still holding Prince Kai. Clefairy then slowly shut her eyes and drifted off to sleep. Prince Kai pried himself from Clefairy's grip. Good, he was freed from Clamp.
"Prince Kai, switch out!" I pointed my Pokeball at Prince Kai, returning him successfully. "Go, Ava!" I sent out Ava, my Hoppip. She floated around lightly, waiting to attack. Clefairy still slept soundly. "Ava, use Bullet Seed!" Ava's mouth filled with seeds, and she spit them at the Clefairy. Clefairy got hit hard, the seeds bouncing off of her in various directions. That woke Clefairy up. "Clefairy, use Yawn!" Clefairy yawned, and hit Ava with that little white cloud thing. I guess Clefairy did learn Yawn... But, that wouldn't help. Ava would fall asleep the next turn, but that was all she needed. Clefairy was panting, her eyes begged for mercy. She would receive none. Whitney snapped out of the thrill of the battle, noticing the pain in Clefairy's expressions. "Oh no!" She yelled. She knew as well it was over.
"Ava... Bullet Seed." I was hesitant to say it, but I eventually choked it out. Again, Ava's mouth filled with seeds, and spat them at Clefairy with astonishing force. Clefairy flew backwards, her mangled body landing at Whitney's feet. Whitney looked down at her Clefairy, tears streaming. The Clefairy slowly crawled to Whitney, and with the last of her strength, lightly tapped her in the foot. Whitney started bawling. "Oh, God..." I moaned. This was ridiculous. I mean, I understood how she felt, but still. She should expect this to happen. She returned Clefairy to her Pokeball slowly. "Alright..." She sniffed. "Go, Miltank...!" She weakly threw her Pokeball, releasing Miltank. She stomped the ground intimidatingly. "Alright, Ava, come back!" I returned her. She was still sleeping. "Go, Baku!" I sent Baku, the Drowzee out. Baku was new, but he had Hypnosis, and could probably finish the job faster than Cerise could.
"Miltank, Attract..." Whitney managed to choke out. Miltank winked cutely at Baku, sending a heart shaped projectile towards him. The projectile hit, and Baku gasped as he gazed at Miltank. "Oh, brother..." I moaned. "Baku, Hypnosis." Baku was oblivious to my commands. He was too preoccupied with gawking at Miltank to listen to me. "Miltank, use Stomp." She rammed Baku over, and stomped on his stomach, knocking the air out of him with a sickening wheeze. "Baku, Hypnosis!" Baku had listened to me this time, sending a psychic wave of sleepiness towards Miltank. She saw the attack coming, and stuck a berry in to her mouth quickly. Hypnosis hit it's mark, and Miltank fell asleep. But, as soon as she slumped over, she awoke. That little... Cow! I now recognized the berry that Miltank once held. It was a Lum Berry. I knew that Lum Berries would heal any status condition when eaten. I sighed.
"Miltank, use Stomp again...!" Whitney had regained some of her determination. Miltank stomped Baku again. "Baku, use Hypnosis!" I guess the attraction was wearing off, because Baku was listening to me. Baku, again, sent a wave of psychic energy at Miltank. When the wave of energy hit, Miltank slumped over, not waking up this time by any berries. "Miltank, wake up!" Tears streamed down Whitney's face, fearing that she would lose her Miltank as well. "Baku, Headbutt!" Baku lowered his head, and rammed it into Miltank. She rolled over, not damaged too much. Suddenly, Miltank woke up. "Miltank, Stomp!" Mlitank stomped Baku again. Baku looked hurt bad, and couldn't take another blow. "Baku, Confusion!" I guess my lucky streak finally broke, because Baku didn't listen to me. Instead, he hugged Miltank tightly. She rolled her eyes.
"Baku, switch out!" I held my Pokeball out, and returned Baku. Then, I sent Geos on to the battlefield. I really hoped that Geos wouldn't get hit by Attract like Baku did. "Miltank, Stomp!" Miltank knocked Geos over, and stomped him. Geos took the blow better than Baku, and shoved her foot off of him, standing up quickly. "Miltank, Stomp again!" As soon as Geos stood up, he was knocked over again, and got stomped on. "Geos, Scary Face!" Geos screwed his face in to a scary looking grimace. Miltank flinched, and her speed fell. Like my battle with Bugsy, I wasn't sure how staring at a Pokemon in a specific fashion would lower a stat.
"Geos, use Bite!" Geos lunged at Miltank, biting her in the arm. Miltank screeched in pain as Geos clamped his jaws down hard. Miltank shook him off, and held her, trying to stop the pain. Before Miltank could do anything else, Geos bit Miltank again. Miltank shook Geos off more forcefully, causing him to land on the ground rather than on his feet. "Miltank, Stomp him!" Miltank brought her foot down on Geos' arm. There was a crack as Geos' arm broke. "Geos!" I yelled. Geos got up, and jumped to my feet. I sprayed him with a Super Potion, healing some of his wounds and numbing the pain. Miltank ran toward me, I jumped out of the way, but Geos wasn't so lucky. Geos was knocked down to the ground, and stomped on once more.
"Geos, Bite!" Geos grabbed Miltanks leg, and bit it. Miltank yanked her leg back, sending Geos along with it. Geos let go, and skidded behind her. "Miltank, use Milk Drink!" Uhm... This was truly a sickening sight. I don't want to elaborate on it. Basically, Miltank... Drank her own milk... I'm sorry if I have scarred anybody by this image. I was a little discouraged by this move, though. Miltank could heal herself? Great. Just great.
I decided to switch out. I needed Miltank to sleep again. And now, with her speed lowered, endind her life would be an easier matter. "Geos, return!" I returned Geos to his Pokeball, and sent out Cerise. Why not use Baku? Cerise couldn't be attracted by Miltank. "Miltank, use Milk Drink again!" Ew. But, Miltank was restored to full health. "Cerise, use Reflect!" Cerise put up a psychic barrier, raising her defenses. Just as she did, Miltank slammed her to the ground, and stomped on her. Reflect softened the blow, but not by much. "Cerise, use Hypnosis!" Cerise sent a psychic wave at Miltank. It hit it's mark, and Miltank slumped over, falling asleep. "Now, use Peck!" Cerise gripped Miltank, and slammed her beak down on Miltank. However, her peck did not do much damage as I had hoped. So, I would have to switch to another Pokemon again.
I switched back to Geos, but sadly, this gave Miltank time to wake up. Miltank stomped Geos. "Geos, use Bite!" Miltank got bit, and flinched, wasting her turn. Okay, this was it, I thought to myself. This had to end. "Geos, use Bite!" Geos bit her again, this time with astonishing force. "Miltank-" Whitney started. "Bite!" I shouted. Geos lunged again, biting hard. This time, Miltank fell over out of exhaustion. "Miltank, get up!" Whitney shouted. She was worried, I could tell. "Geos, finish it." Geos brought his claws down on Miltank, scratching in to her flesh. Miltank screeched, trying to shove Geos off of her. Geos wouldn't stop. Finally, after what seemed like hours, the screeching stopped, and Geos rose off of Miltank's bloody corpse. Whitney screamed in terror at the sheer monstrosity of the moment. She to her room, terrified by the scene.
I could say that I was a little freaked out, too. This really didn't help my goal. I wanted to show the world that trainers weren't heartless killers, but I had proved just that during this battle. I returned Geos and ran after Whitney. I entered her room, and heard her bawling in the corner. I walked over to her slowly. "Don't come near me, you monster!" She yelled. "Look, I'm sorry about your Miltank. But really, I couldn't have killed it any other way. Now, I just want my badge." She reached in to her pouch and threw that badge at my face. I caught it just before it hit it's mark. "There! There's you're peace of plastic!" She sniveled. "Now leave!" I left, not wanting to be in her presence any more. That sore loser...
I came to the Pokemon Center. The battle was being aired on the TV. "Hey, did you see the gym battle today?" A woman asked, watching the TV. "Yeah, that's Star!" I heard a man say. "That was a brutal battle. I've never seen something so ferocious and sickening. That trainer is..." I walked out of the Pokemon Center before I could hear what he had to say. I didn't want to hear anyones oppinion on me...

Okay, this isn't EXACTLY what happened. I cut some of it out because Miltank was a chore to beat. I kept switching between Baku and Geos, the two main attackers of my team. No one died, however, so we're good.
-Current Team-
Geos (Croconaw) Lvl 21
Cerise (Hoothoot) Lvl 19
Ava (Hoppip) Lvl 17
Prince Kai (Togepi) Lvl 18
Baku (Drowzee) Lvl 20
It's been a while but she never seemed very uard. I remember wiping her out like any other trainer or gym leader. However, I wasn't doing nuzlock challenge so I had a team of very strong pokemon that I trained like a mother trucker.
