With the release of iOS 7 people have already started to compare this to Android. iOS 7 was a big update for iPhones, iPads, and iPods. This update changed almost everything but things still work the same. In this blog I wanted to compare this update with Android 4.2.2.
Multitasking
iOS 7
Click on the thumbnail or icon to open app and slide up to delete.
Android
Click on the thumbnail to open app and slide right or left to delete. The Tablet UI is different from the Phone UI. When the tablet is in landscape you slide up or down to delete since it's horizontal than vertical.
Homescreen
iOS 7
New look as you can see. Doesn't have that glossy feel to it anymore.
Android
Looks very clean. Apps are spaced out nicely.
Control Center/Quick Settings
iOS 7
This makes changing key settings/features faster.
Android
Note: I didn't add the power control to this since most of those can be toggled here now in 4.2
Lock Screen
iOS 7
You can access the Camera, Notification Center, Control Center, and Siri.
Android
You can access the camera by sliding right and access some widgets by sliding left. You can also access Google Now.
Siri and Google Now
iOS 7
To me this new Siri looks way better and can be a male or female voice!
Android
Those notifications popup automatically based on what you have searched on before.
This blog was just meant to point out how both OSes are the same but yet so different. Sorry about the image sizing I'm kind of rushing. So tell me in the comments do they look the same or still completely different.
