CHAPTER 7- Blood red

I was sitting in the kitchen at the table, reading a book, when suddenly I remembered something.
“Mom.” I say.
“What?” Mom replies.
“I need to go back to the school...” I mumble.
“Okay, but hurry. I don't want you to get hurt.” She says strictly.

“Okay, bye mom.” I say, walking out the front door.
I go in my yard, run, snap out my wings, and start flying towards the school.

When I get inside the school, I walk down the long hallways, rounding corners, passing by lockers. I pass by the big staircase which leads to floor 2, but I walked back to it and stopped when I realized there was [b]blood[/n] trickling down the steps.
I shriek and fold my wings into my jacket, and run up the stairs.
Once I get up there, I see the person who was bleeding, lying on the floor, face down. I turn them over.
It was a girl with brown hair which was styled up in a ponytail.
She opens her eyes, which were a reddish-brown color. She had her hand covering a wound in her arm, trying to stop the blood.
“What happened to you?!” panic and worry in my voice rising.
“An implanter stabbed me in the arm. I also saw them take my sister away...” She replied.
“What's your name?” I ask the girl.
“Summer. Isn't yours Zennia?”
“Yeah. How'd you know?” I asked.
“My sister knows you. But she got taken by an Implanter.”
Then I suddenly remember. She’s April’s sister. I saw her sometimes when I went over to April’s house. “Come with me, I’ll get you to a hospital.” I say to her.

Then I find another figure on the ground. It was a guy. When I go closer, I see who he is.
To my horror, It was..
