I'm back. Now you have something good to read instead of your regular Waffle King junk.
Have you watched a commercial lately?
For some reason, people talking in commercials seem to have been instructed to use their hands while they talk.
And by this, I mean they wouldn't normally talk with their hands like this but the commercial director told them to and it's BLATANTLY OBVIOUS.
You can use your hands for a lot of things. But if you don't naturally use your hands while you talk, then absolutely do not do it during a commercial. Unless you're good at acting. But if you're not, it shows. Bigly.
Can't you just put your hands away? Keep them in your pockets or something. Don't extend them toward the camera and move them up and down. Your hands were made for so much more than awkward motions to promote a product.
It's short, I know. Hopefully I'm not the only one who has noticed this issue though. But if you were previously unaware of it, you'll be pleased to notice it when you watch TV.
tl;dr
If you don't talk with your hands, don't try in a commercial. Also, you're really missing out.
