So, fun fact, my favorite type of poems are haikus. You know haikus,
They're in this format,
Gotta count the syllables,
Just five seven five!

The first line has five syllables, the second has seven, and the third has five. That's it! Here's a beautiful poem from the series Dear Dumb Diary (Edited because I don't think I have the exact wording)
"Five syllables here,
Oh look, here are seven more,
Five again, happy?"

See, a beautiful and flawless example! In my head, I like to sing a little song that helps me check if I have the right counting. You can learn this song by looking up "Jacksfilms Haikus". The older videos don't have the song, so try to find the newer stuff!
