I joined DSiPaint in 2011 after specifically searching for a website on my DSi for a place to hang out and get to know people.

Upon joining the wondrous community I made many new friends that I could talk to outside of my 'real life'.

The vibrant and friendly community this website offered made me keep coming back, day after day. Joining in in chatroom conversations, conversing with 1-5 at a time through private messages, talking with people in the groups, taking part in polls, and so forth.

As I return six years later, and look at my friends list, I can still recall how I met and when I met 80% of the people on there. I also remember, in great detail, the conversations I had with these people.

It is a shame that this community has died down from what it once was. Nevertheless, It kept entertained, being able to socialise with hundreds of people, from my simple, two-screened, handheld gaming device.
