Once upon a DSi, a young boy stumbled upon a community of other young humans, like himself. Well, some were old, as the boy feels now, looking back on this memory.
The boy, we'll call him Nate. You see, Nate had never experienced such a thing. He was taken back by the community. The leader of the community, Hullbreach, greeted him with a hearty hello.
No he didn't. But Nate knew he was leading something amazing.
The activities, as well as the sheer number of people in the community was overwhelming to Nate. Chatrooms, all full to the brim, invited him to chat and gossip with anyone. He found people with common interests. Friends. He found people he thought to be quite humorous, ones to look up to. Role models. He found ignorant trolls and bullies littered in the crowd, but that was life. It seemed like everybody was there, in this community. Nate visited daily. Not only did he gain friends and happiness, but he gained a little knowledge, courage, respect.
...And a lot of Savii Points.
He felt like a true member of a community that would last forever. Until one fabled day, Nate grew up a little. He got a job, taking away his time from his friends and family of the community. He got his own apartment, and a wife. His time with the community was sparse, if it was there at all. Nate found the time to visit his community recently. When he returned, he found a lot had changed. It felt different, It was quiet. A tumbleweed rolled across his New 3DS XL scr-
That was just his son throwing Cheez-Its at him.
But, it changed nothing. His community had dispersed, no one was there. His generation had moved on with him, leaving only a few left to hold the fort. A big piece of his heart had died for the community. A bittersweet moment overcame Nate, and he felt as if he needed to make a blog, capturing that feeling for anyone who was there.
Looks like I joined a year after you. My original account was "Brownieboy" and, ironically enough, I got Type 1 Diabetes shortly afterwards haha. I basically offended myself with the name, due to the fact I struggled with the condition early on. Ultimately having the account removed and making a new one. Little fun fact.
