Well, today 27 of September of 2018, is my fifth anniversary here on Paint.I know people will be like "it's just 5 years, I've been here for more time and I don't make a fuss about it."
Well I don't give a damn if you're more veteran or not, this is my blog so shut the hell up. >:c

Paint has been an important part of my life, along with everybody.I've made amazing friends and made a hobby that I now adore with all of my heart.I will always thank Hull for making this wonderful site, and I don't know what I would be doing if I've never discovered SDK.

Starting from the beginning, when I found out about DSi sites.Back then I used Flipnote Hatena to share my art with the world, my drawings weren't really good but I kept doing it.One day I found out a flip talking about DSi sites and...Paint wasn't on it.But it's competitor that stole it's painting app, Home4DSi was.I became a frequentor of that site even though I didn't have an account.The only good things it had was the DSi quiz, the "youtube" thing that was just poor quality game trailer gifs and the affiliate sites.
When Hatena died I moved to Home4DSi, but didn't last long.On the Affiliates section I found DSi Paint, and that's where this story unfolds.

The first thing I clicked was the library, which back then was unfinished and only had classic book samples.But I checked the Blogs, BBs, Saviis, everything.I decided to stay and I replaced the Home4DSi bookmark for the Paint one.A decision that I will never regret.

During June of 2013, I tried to create my first account named MissieOfWar.Don't ask why, I was 10.I recieved the email but I deleted it(lol) for some random reason.
On this same day, but 5 years ago, SCREECHiNG FLARE was born. ♡

Lots of people welcomed me, and even I was hella noobish, I made friends quickly.I still keep contact with some after all these years(-coughcoughluiscoughcough-).
Thanks to Paint and its function to put our drawings as profile pictures, I started drawing.My first picture was a green and blue background with the letters SF on them.
Thanks to that, I started drawing again, since I stopped after Hatena closed.

I will always be grateful for everything Paint has done for me, and even if the good days will never return, we can always welcome the new generations to this amazing place we call home.
