Hey everyone, today I'm going to review one of my favorite games on the Nintendo DS. My goal is to rope as many of you guys into playing it.



When I first came across this game, I could not believe that a open-world game would even work on a DS. IMAGINE THE FRAMERATE!!! No, but the developers of the game worked hard on a unique game engine to make a good GTA experience. The last time this was done, was the GTA on the Gameboy. It was an ok experience, but the focus was to improve BIG TIME.

Ok, so this is the story of the game. You play as a rich guy named Huang Lee from China who is delivering his father's sword to the Triad gang leader in Liberty City. Huang will meet with his Uncle Wu Kenny Lee to deliver the sword. Huang's father was murdered, so Huang intends to find the people responsible with the help of Uncle Kenny. When he gets off his plane, he is attacked by a gang, and is shot in the head. He wakes up in a car that is being driven off into the ocean. He breaks out of the car, and starts to look for his Uncle, who plans to be the next Triad leader. Huang starts to do jobs for his uncle as the story progresses.

Ok so this game is in 3rd person view. The environment is quit large and it is quite impressive on how much detail is implemented. There are many activities that are added to the game other than the story. There are jobs such as Noodle delivery, Mailing, Taxi driving, and many more. There are even jobs such as pharmecuetical trade, weapon rampages, truck hijacking, and street racing. I like that you can cheat in street races by blowing up cars with your weapons XD. There are even challenges like go-kart racing and firearm training. I like the fact that even when you complete the story, you can still enjoy the game.



When it comes to story missions, you can expect missions like escaping police chases, stealing goods, eliminating enemies, and arming and disarming explosives. Thats all I can say because I don't wanna spoil anything. I do like these missions becuase they're extremely difficult and awesome. I LOVE fast paced action segments with explosions and screaming.

You can also expect funny and interesting easter eggs scattered across Liberty City, so pay attention to your surroundings. You can buy safehouses to save your game and store your goods. You can buy food like burgers and hotdogs to replenish health. You can buy lottery tickets to get a chance to hit the jackpot. You can give gang members tattoos to make a quick buck. I love how this game PERFECTLY uses the touchscreen to complete these minigames. For me, it really makes a unique GTA game.

Apart from the singleplayer experience, there are many things to do with friends online. There is a trading system which involves trading goods and weapons. There are also PvP, challenge, and survival modes. I love the fact that the modes are open world so you and the other player can diversify the way they play every other match. Weapon and vehicle placement changes which makes this better in my opinion.







Anyways, I really think this is a good game. As a DS game, I give it a 9/10. I hope you all can play this game, and enjoy it just as much as I do. >w<
