Tiering and our Dynamax Banlist
Ubers is currently making use of complex bans with the aim to balance the Dynamax mechanic while still retaining the mechanic in our metagame. More information on this process can be found here. The Ubers Council aims to assess the metagame with the intent of refining this banlist as needed for a healthy metagame, with suspect tests being used as a means to achieve this in the future.
The following Pokemon cannot use Dynamax in an Ubers battle:
Ditto
Kyurem-W
Lunala
Marshadow
Mewtwo
Necrozma-DM
Necrozma-DW
Reshiram
Solgaleo
Zekrom
Play Restrictions
Players must abide by the following clauses:
Species Clause: A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same National Pokedex number on a team.
Sleep Clause: If a player has already put a Pokemon on his/her opponent's side to sleep and it is still sleeping, another one can't be put to sleep.
Evasion Clause: A Pokemon may not have either Double Team or Minimize in its moveset.
OHKO Clause: A Pokemon may not have the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold in its moveset.
Endless Battle Clause: Players cannot intentionally prevent an opponent from being able to end the game without forfeiting.
Ubers Dynamax Clause: Pokemon on the Ubers Dynamax Banlist cannot Dynamax.
