if you're just going for an elizabethan-era sonnet, i think it checks out. rhyming scheme is ababcdcdefefgg, as it should.
one thing, though: usually the couplet (two lines at the end) have some kind of twist to them. i don't really see a clear twist here because it seems like the focus of the speaker changes to addressing the reader before the couplet.
anyway, that's probably overanlysis. very interesting poem nontheless
