I don't really game anymore (between work, home maintenance, other adult stuff), but I might revisit this at some point.
Oh damnn, souldj. I game like 24/7 which IS unhealthy but video games have been a big part of my life ever since I was 4 or 5- I'm sure I'll have to focus on work and stuff someday as well so I guess I've gotta enjoy myseff while I can ;-; [/quote]
Yeah, when you're young it's kinda excusable to spend a lot of time gaming. I did the same thing when I'd get home from school and on the weekends. I even also started young (4-5), on N64, then eventually Gamecube, Wii, Xbox 360, the Xbox One and then PC. Looking back though I do regret some of it though. Playing with my friends was cool, but the hours I spent alone playing alone or with strangers was completely unmemorable and I can't get them back. A complete waste.
To you I'm barely real, just words on a screen, a complete stranger. That being said, I still strongly advise that you spend as much time IRL as you can bc when you're young like you are, you have time to explore and learn. There are a lot of things I can't do now simply because adult life is very time consuming (and mentally taxing as well).
That's not to say you shouldn't have fun. Definitely have fun, but be smart about the kind of fun that you're having. Have fun to build (real, irl) relationships, (real) skills, and wisdom rather than to just pass the time.
I live in KY and I have family in the Cincinnati area, and I agree that OH is booty.
My family is from Michigan so I've been through Ohio plenty of times. Some parts of it are mid but most of it is generally unpleasant or at best unremarkable lol. I do hear that there are Pawpaw festivals in southern Ohio though, which is cool.
Also @buffguff23 I love Wisconsin. Culver's is mid at best though. I was just up there for a wedding up in Manitowoc, and there's a little Mom-and-Pop restaurant that's across the street from the beach. The food was p good and p cheap. Also, got the curds were big and you get quite a few for like $4. Right behind it is a Cedar Crest Ice Cream. Very cool spot, highly recommend.
- Low calorie; guilt-free
- Cheap asf
- Not much flavor, can be mixed with other snacks to increase fullness
- Can be thrown in the microwave for easy prep, but can be prepared many other ways
- Very high in potassium
I just microwave a potato if I get hungry, as well as eating it for pretty much every meal.
