I only do Rotation, he's mainly there to protect Staraptor a bit. Plus, Lightningrod now boosts Sp. Atk, in addition to being unharmed by any Electric move. So Thundr Waves are negated. ;p

As does any price cut.

Technically speaking, Pokemon Black 2/White 2 will have 3DS exclusive stuff, namely the special forms of Tornadus/Thunderus/Landorus. But they will most likely not do a retail main game until Gen VI.

An easy place to train for Attack EVs is Route 1, as both Patrat & Lillipup give +1 Attack Effort Values. With a Macho Brace, +2. Macho Brace+PokeRus, +4. So quick. ;D

Also, Shiny Pokemon are no longer statistically superior, only in Gen II, as that was what determined a Shiny, it's IVs.
