Long story short, my older brother accidently casted his fishing line at a bad timing and hooked me in my upper eyelid, right above the eyeball. Thankfully, I made a miraculous recovery and retained no eye damage from the accident. Over the years, the scar it left has barely become visible too.
My youngest cousin was coming home from school while his step-father was using some lethal, electronic construction tools. Not noticing as he ran to his room, he accidently hit the cord to a power-saw, and activated it as it fell to the floor on his foot a few inches below his pinky toe. Fortunately, after getting it stitched up and disinfected for several weeks, he too made a miraculous recovery.
Oddly, I'm afraid of small creepy crawlies, the one's that are all fast, evasive, and hard to see. But, I am not afraid of a large insect/arachnid or rat that are the complete opposite of one or more of the things listed...
And some others, but, unfortunately, I'm having trouble remembering the names of them or who they belong to. But, when I hear an inspiring song, man does it get my mind flowing and my heart beating way better than it would without it!
Needles... God, I hate needles... I shudder at the very sight of any form of needle, even the ones that are just small that only prick your thumb to draw a little blood. One time, it took at least four to six doctors, including my mother, to hold me down... I just can not do it, at all! ;~;
Plus, the dark! If I'm in an environment or place where it's hard to see a few feet in front of me, while objects are in my way and/or form or look like creepy looking object or person in the dark, I just feel overwhelmed with dread and just lose all courage to continue any further from wherever I stand. Once, when I was little and home alone, the power went out during a thunderstorm. At that very moment, my imagination started to kick into high gear, and so did my muscle reflexes, if one knows what particular muscle reflex I am talking about... >~>
No! This shouldn't even be a yes or no question. It's not healthy at all to do it. Not for the one's who do it, or their victims. It's hurtful to all.
In my deepest opinion, I hate it. But it's kind of different when it happends to certain people. I know and heard of a couple people who end up doing it by mistake, simply because there are several people who love them, and those people are someone that they do not want to hurt at all. They must find it hard to say "No" to either of them. The thought of crushing someone's heart is just too much to bare. For those people caught in that situation, or something similar, I feel for them. It's never easy to just say "No" to the one's you don't want to hurt, is it?
It's still not healthy, though. No matter what type of situation it is. It just never is.
"F-zero GX"
That freakin' racing game made me rage so much at a young age. No way wil I ever experince a racing game that is as strict and fustrating as this.
"Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2"
Like ninja versus ninja wasn't hard enough. As you progress through the game (or increase the difficulty), enemies just get more powerful, hostile, spam a lot more, and don't ever let up for one second. You'll always be on your toes. It even got worse in #2, with this gaint freakin' volcanic armadillo, with the lenth similar to that of an airplane and the height of a three or four story building, that just had to have the in ability to flinch. This boss is so over powered. As he gets weaker, meteors start shotting everywhere on screen, meaning you have to fight and dodge his attacks, while he spams meteorites everywhere on screen. And, to make matters worst, when you beat the darn thing, you only get five seconds to retreat before it self destructs. If you fail to do so when it explodes, and kills you instantly, making you have to fight it all over again. If you succeed, good job! You did... just to get at least 5 or 6 more chapters into the game before you have to fight two at the same time?! Thanks a lot, Team Ninja. It's not like I didn't like throwing my controller across the room every now and then.
Ironman by a long shot. But it would still be interesting to see. If the battle last for a while and doesn't just start and end with Tony Stark showing off his cannons to the crowd, then Batman has a chance to devise a plan.
His main plan would be to get in Stark's head and mess with him a little when he tries to please his audience. Embarass him, make him get mad. Though it could be dangerous to send Stark into an all out rampage in his suit of armor, it could also be used as an advantage if he isn't using his head. But Bruce Wayne lacks ways to mess with people because of his lack off humor. But if he does find a way to do so, he has a sleight chance of catching Stark off guard and possible counter attack his rage by dishing out damage to the suit by damage means and over use. Eventually, it may cause Stark's suit to malfunction, leaving him helpless to Batman's ways of CQC and gadget use. Batman took on large hulking beasts, such as killer croc. Dealing with ironman in hand to hand combat would not be as much or as less troublesome as croc, depending on what Stark could still use in a state of malfunction. But, it would be a lot easier than trying to fight him off the ground. Also, evening the odds in batmans abilities, giving him a fair chance at winning.
All in all, it would be a great battle to see. I would be dying to see what Batman would use to his advantage to use the plan I described. It's not always the hard hitters who win. All you need is a good strategy and be able to think quickly when they go beserk.
Marvel. Most DC Universe heroes seem to over powering for themselves and their villians. Marvel doesn't have just one hero that can shoot lasers from their eyes, fly, has nearly if not complete invulnerability. Each character in marvel has more than one weakness, compared to most of the popular heroes in DC. Batman is the only execption out of the whole DC roster that seems to play fair. But I guess fairness isn't a rule when it comes to saving the world.
Pandora from DMC 4. That demonic briefcase case could transform into 666 weapons by just unlocking it. From a bow-like rocket launcher, to a tripod rocket launcher, to a massive laser cannon, to a gatling gun, a large throwable boomerang blade, a high tech battle carrier, and then, the best of all, just opening the suitcase was devastating. It wiped many enemies off the screen in seconds if one knew how to master it forms into combos.
I never really watched a lot of star wars, but Jar Jar was a problem that could only be solved with a taser. And that one guy from Full Metal Alchemist that I believed ate people or creatures in general. I swore the day, if he was real and I would ever cross him, I would do the world a favor by silencing him for good.
Classic gaming won this by having the most memories to recall when playing them. While modern gaming nearly fit the position, but has brought a new flaw to games everywhere. And if this modernized way of gaming is not justified soon then many titles such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, and some others will fall with a great amount of force. I see it clearly that these games are doing there best to remain as one of the best sellers, but I think they've been trying too hard for the past years.
There ways of gaming is now infecting other games such as, one of my favorites, Ninja Gaiden. In number 3 of the Ninja Gaiden franchise, Team Ninja thought they could score a large community by skipping the story and just going right in to the multiplayer business. But that didn't help the game at all. It only took away from that original experience that the other two Ninja Gaidens had given. Another single player game that has been infected recently was the God of War series as well. They are trying to fit in with the multiplayer era when these games should just keep the original single player experience.
Even some multiplayer games we all say are the best are struggling. Look at Call of Duty. Compare all the changes they made to the game and how rare or slowly these changes have been made. They have reached there peak on graphics and con no longer rely on it. Their gameplay is also at it's peak but needs to change soon before the community becomes bored with it. If they appeal to the entire community, and no more new comers or people who have stopped playing their games, then that community will fall. Same with Battlefield. The games have gotten too real, they can't make it any more realistic or else the community will give up on them.
They need a new original form of gaming, like the classics. Something that makes them unique rather than being known as the best sellers. Nothing too real, but original. Black ops and World at war are doing their best using their Zombies spin-off. But that too, may fall.
Sorry for writing and explaining too much. I just spoke my deepest opinion. And in the end, I never said a word about what makes classic gaming top. But I believe we all know why.
I don't remember them all by name, but I know I've seen at least three of them. They were all good. The only one I can name is Casino Royale. But the other two, I just can not name. I remember there was a seen in one where James was battling Oddjob in a bank vault or something. Oddjob was overpowering him with strength and his deadly weapon of choice, the top hat with hidden blades in the rims. Oddjob tossed it like it was nothing. Throwing his weight around. And the other, I can't recall any memorable seens because I watched it at a young age. But other than that, James Bond movies are a thrill to watch.
But not to many people get excited watching classic films these days. Unless there's a HD remake, no one would ever watch these films again for ages.
That's a good question. I can never really pick between the two.
But one thing I do judge them on is the theme or genre of the song. It may sound confusing, but get this. What would a yodeling song sound like if someone added auto-tune, or was yodeling to a heavy metal beat? Nope. Not good at all. Basically, if the beat sounds good but the lyrics throw me off of it, then I can't listen to it. If they both are good, then I'll definetly listen. And if they follow a theme, such as a smooth rhythm with a smooth lyrical hymn to run with the beat, then it's music to me.
But what am I to judge. Everyone has a different taste in music. Some people do listen to gospel songs in the form of screamo. It's true.
Its actually well done. To say the least, you can't really camp in that game unless you go up against people who doesn't really know the meaning of class based gaming.
The new spotting feature is also legit. If you see someone, depending on how visible they are, their dot shows up on the radar even if they aren't firing a weapon. But you must have them in your HUD to have them appear. Also, the team can see those people on the map as well if you mark or fire at them.
Another cool feature is the buddy feature. If you have a buddy, you and that person can replenish your health and ammo when need at anytime. Plus, you can earn points together to rack up support streaks. And if you fear you may lose this streak, then no need to worry if you stick with your buddy. If you get killed, your buddy can see a real-time view and position of the guy who killed you. They will be surrounded by a red aura. You can even see them through the wall, kinda like left for dead where you can see a blue aura around your teammates and items at all times. If your buddy kills them quick enough, you get your streak back and instantly respawn on your bud. This will hopefully tell players that that lone run and gun stuff does not work in this game unless you got true skills. Even then, teamwork gets the job done more effectively. Two heads ar better than one.
But to sum it up, I kinda look foward to getting it. Team based games with classes that have better advantages other classes do not have are the best. Games like Team Fortress 2.
I would, but then I wouldn`t. The reason: being the president can be a great postion to have but also the scariest position ever. The president is known to be the most powerful position in world history. Once your in that spot, the whole world looks at you with different faces. The decisions you make can change those faces in a blank of an eye. And not all those decisions are easy. Just think about how US President Harry Truman felt when he had to decide to drop an atomic bombs in japan, killing thousands. People wondered if he did the right thing of doing so. Some think it was a criminal act. It can be tough when millions are with or against you.
"Being a President is like riding a tiger. A man has to keep on riding or be swallowed"
-33rd US President Harry S. Truman
Being too silent around the house. Plenty of times I had to duck and dodge what ever punch or object got thrown at me when I accidently scare my friends and family in households. I will never forget that day I scared my friends mother that time I stayed over at his house late. That lady can throw! She thought she was fighting a home invader. I THOUGHT I WAS DODGING A FRICKIN' BEAR!
